DPSRU Admission 2026: Application Process, Eligibility, Dates & Fee

Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University accepts GPAT score for admission to MPharm course. The university accepts CUET-PG score for most of the PG programmes. The university prepares a merit list based on the entrance exam score of the candidates. Once selected, aspirants need to submit the specified documents for verification. On admission confirmation, aspirants need to pay a course fee for final admission.

Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University offers more than 12 courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels. The university offers DPharm, BPharm, BSc (Sports Science) and PG courses, MPharm in various specialisations such as Cosmeceutics, Drug Regulatory Affairs, Pharmaceutical Analysis, etc. Candidates need to complete a minimum of Class 12 for UG courses and graduation to apply for a PG programme.

DPSRU fees include multiple components such as tuition fee, caution deposit, exam fee, hostel charges, etc. Candidates need to pay a caution deposit only once at the time of admission. DPSRU BPharm admissions generally begin in May. The applications are accepted till June. Candidates seeking admission must know the important dates. The university does not accept any applications after the end date. Moreover, the important dates may get published on the official website or can be confirmed with the admission office.

DPSRU BBA fee is cumulative of different components, such as tuition fee, security deposit, etc. Students who get finalised have to pay the fee amount to lock their seats. The total tuition fee for the UG course is INR 1.8 lakh, hostel fee is INR 1.25 lakh, and one-time fee is INR 5,000. It must be noted that the mentioned fee amount is as per the official website/ sanctioning body. It is still subject to revision and hence, is indicative. 

Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University has a total of 90 seats. There are 30 seats each for the offered MBA programmes. Candidates are admitted as per the sanctioned intake and selection criteria. Moreover, the university has seats for candidates belonging to the reserved categories. The cutoff of Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University admission 2025 depends on the sanctioned intake capacity of the candidate's preferred course and institution. Mentioned below are the cutoff/intake capacity for a few courses offered at DPSRU:

• 120 seats for DPharm
• 100 seats for BPharm
• 60 seats for BPharm (SPS)
• 40 seats for BPharm (Ayurveda)
• 10 seats for BPharm Lateral Entry

Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences And Research (DIPSAR) offers MPharma Course.For Non-Delhi general category admission in DIPSAR the cutoff was 95.67 for the 2021-2022 academic year.

DPSRU also offers MPharma but there won't be a cut-off point for admission in DPSRU and candidates are exempt from entrance exams.

To get admission in M.PHARM in CLINICAL RESEARCH you should be GPAT qualified with good rank and you should have scored minimum 60% (aggregation of all semester) in your bachelor's.

You may get admission directly if you have completed your bachelor's from DPSRU but the priority will be the GPAT qualified candidates.

DPSRU provides fee concession to students fulfilling any of the below criteria:

• Students holding specific scholarships are exempted from payment of tuition fee on application.
• In case two or more brothers/ sisters are pursuing a course from the university, then brother/ sister studying in the lower class have to pay half of the prescribed tuition fee
• No tuition fee is charged from son or daughter of emplotyees of Training and Technical Education, Government of Delhi
• SC/ ST students are exempted from payment of tuition fee

DPSRU reserves some seats for candidates belonging to reserved category. Such aspirants need to provide documents to prove their claim. Below is the reservation criteria followed:

DPSRU offers courses at UG, PG, diploma, certificate and doctoral levels. The university offers courses across streams such as Pharmacy, Health Sciences, Medicine, etc. Candidates can apply for any of the offered courses online by paying INR 1,000. Admission to DPSRU courses is merit and entrance-based.

Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DIPSAR) offers B.Pharm, D.Pharm, M.Pharm, and Ph.D. programs. Applicants who hold a Bachelor's in Pharmacy with at least 55% aggregate marks are eligible to apply. Admission to both D.Pharm and B.Pharm will be based on the merit of the qualifying examination.

- For Non-Delhi general category, the cutoff for admission to DIPSAR was 95.67 percent for M.Pharma for the 2021-2022 academic year.

- To get admission in M.Pharma in Clinical Research at DPSRU, candidates should be GPAT qualified with a good rank and should have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.

Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University offers hostel facilities with separate hostel buildings for boys and girls. Hostel fees at DPSRU Delhi are INR 10,000 for UG Courses and INR 11,000 for PG Courses. Furthermore, students must pay a security fee of INR 5,000 and a Mess fee of INR 15,000 per semester.

To pursue BPharm from Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University, an applicant must have passed with a minimum of 55% aggregate in class 12 from the Science stream. Admission into BPharm course of DPSRU Delhi depends upon the aggregate of 3 subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology. For students who have opted for both, the best of two from Maths or Biology will be considered.

Although 88% on the GPAT is a good score, entrance to Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University's MBA programme may not be assured with that score alone. Less emphasis is given on GPAT in the MBA programme at DPSRU, which clearly employs the Delhi Pharma Entrance Test (DPET) result.Your application may be strengthened by a high GPAT score, but it won't be the main deciding factor in your selection.

The number of applications, DPET exam difficulty, and available seats are some of the elements that determine the minimum cutoff scores for admission. Should the competition change, an 88% GPAT might be adequate this year, even though it wasn't in past years. Go to the DPSRU website and look for the official MBA cutoff scores from the prior year. 

You must have graduated from an accredited university with a bachelor's degree in management, science, or pharmacy with at least 55% of the total possible points.If you have a valid DPET or CAT score, you will be assigned a weight. Applicants who will be sitting for their final degree exams may also apply, but they must send in their final grade report by the deadline for admission. The programme has no upper age limit for applications.

You will have to go through a multi-stage selection process that usually consists of entrance exams, group discussions, and in-person interviews after you complete the eligibility requirements.
