For studying, it's a very good college, the infrastructure is awesome, and placements also begin.

Placements: Placements are conducted by the placement cell through several reputed companies and organisations. They have also been providing good opportunities to the freshers, especially in their organisations, but with low salaries.

Infrastructure: College has good facilities, but not as good as you are expecting. It's okay to be good for you. It'll be hard for the first 2 months as we are new in the hostel, but further it will be a good environment for you with new friends and family, like teaching staff and watchmen.

Faculty: Exams will be conducted strictly, but with a proper syllabus, good teaching by the staff, especially with their wonderful knowledge of the subject, the leading course, conducting tests and giving homework to the students to make them well prepared.

Other: The campus is very attractive, has all the greenery, and has all the canteens with high-cost foods.

A review from a student of the 2023 to 2027 batch.

Placements: Nearly all our college gives 100% placement, but not in the same domain. Either in technical or non-technical roles, only a few people get the same domain placement. Currently, for our batch, they have started pre-placement training, and we even had a placement opportunity from a company named Hushh.ai in the month of March 2026.

Infrastructure: The campus is fully Wi-Fi-enabled across academic blocks, with new department-wise labs, 20 to 30 smart classrooms, and a central library that feels truly worthy to use, but sometimes has outdated books. Hostel food is decent compared to other colleges, but sometimes it will be below average with three days of non-veg per week, though room costs are on the higher side. There is a 24/7 medical hospital inside the campus, and hostellers can use the sports facilities till evening. The only drawback is that there is no Wi-Fi in the hostel.

Faculty: Some of the faculty are really good and helpful, but in some cases, they are not able to teach properly. In some subjects, the course content is not even relevant but is included in the syllabus. Additionally, some courses that require labs are not designed into the curriculum, and the semester exams are strict.

Other: College cultural events are the most important part, which will be conducted massively for three days and include many celebrities. Another important celebration is Pongal and Christmas, which will have a DJ and include many celebrities.

DSU is a great university with good infrastructure.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course is 79 percent. The highest package is 17 LPA, the lowest is 3.3 LPA, and the average package offered is 7.3 LPA. The top recruiting company for my course is HCL. The percentage of students who got internships from my course is 60 percent.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course/department are average. Wi-Fi is available in the college. The labs and classrooms are good. All books are available in the library. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is good. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is also good.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is relevant to jobs, and it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams in this college are tougher, and the pass percentage is above 78 percent.

DSU is filled full of joy with some minor issues in hostel.

Placements: I think the last batch all got placed from this university. The highest package is 16 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Top role is not offered just to an employee or normal category. Students also get internships in Hyderabad. It is all about placements.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available but network is slow. In hostel, they try to put good food but plenty of people are there which is why some issues are there with food. Medical is always available at this university because hospital is there on campus. But doctor is not available at the correct time.

Faculty: Teachers are teaching well. They are well educated and good at this field. Here, exams are going very well. The pass percentage is 61 percent. They conduct an industrial visit for the first-year boys because they want to know about the industries and who runs them. Faculty members are available for all subjects.

Excellent campus infrastructure. Good placement support. Salary packages range from 3 LPA to 13 LPA.

Placements: 100 percent of students got placement in my course. Their salary may be high or low, but everyone got placed in a company. Mostly small and start-up level companies are coming for campus hiring. The HRDC department is supportive in getting jobs and internships. Here are a few company names who came for hiring (Coding Mart, Kaar Technology, Space Zee, Avasoft, Tech Vaseegrah, Esales, Ladera Technology, Izeon, Technofort, Orion Shift, Code Young, Infomart, and more).

Infrastructure: The hostel life is very good. The infrastructure looks classic. Wi-Fi facility is available, but we don’t get proper network coverage. Even our phone network coverage is slower inside the campus. The classrooms in the academic block are classic. The SET block infrastructure is also good but not like the academic block. The libraries are available in the academic block, which have all types of books where you can learn a lot. The computer labs look very grand and they have a lot of computers. But the computers are not installed with all required softwares.

Faculty: The teachers and lecturers are with an intermediate level of skill. All types of courses and departments are available in the campus. It means all departments’ students are under one umbrella. The semester exams are not much hard, if you study with minimal hard work, you can clear the exams. And it makes students industry ready, but not up to the level.

Other: I chose Artificial Intelligence and Data Science course in B.Tech because it is trending. I had skill in AI and DS by participating in multiple hackathons and competitions conducted inside the campus. There are also many cultural events conducted inside the campus for all the best. This makes the students enjoy the college life.

Good campus, decent faculty, supportive environment, and opportunities for growth.

Placements: 88 per cent of the students were placed in this course, and many of them were placed in the best companies. Zoho, Infosys, TCL and some of the companies hire us from this college. 90 per cent of the students got an internship from this course, from companies like Tata, TCL and Infosys. I mentioned some companies.

Infrastructure: Our CS department is the highest-studying course in this university. We have many sections, a great infrastructure and many good faculty members. Many classes have AC and the best quality benches. They have a big auditorium and labs. Southern and northern types of food are available.

Faculty: They are very helpful. Teaching quality is good. They are very knowledgeable and have the curiosity to discipline and guide us. This course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready and for the Next generation of students. Not more difficult, most of the subjects are easy. Pass percentage is 50%.

Other: I was interested in software development, so it made my path clear. And get trained in the Thai course. The lateral subject should be improved. We had the best events, fest, scholarship and extracurricular activities in our college.
