The campus environment, teaching, infrastructure and facilities are excellent.

Placements: After the completion of the MBBS course, all students have to do a 1-year internship in CMC itself, where they get to work in many departments. Over the year, students learn to manage a wide spectrum of diseases under the guidance of experienced senior doctors. The stipend offered is around Rs. 19,000 per month. After that, students need to work in missionary hospitals across India for a bond period of 2 years. In missionary hospitals, young doctors get firsthand experience about the medical and...

The college has good placements and faculty.

Placements: CMC doctors get placed in all leading corporate hospitals of India. You can also try and get out of the country. It is one of the best medical schools in India and also quite well known in abroad. Getting a job with an attractive salary is a cake walk. In the medical profession, placement is never a problem I guess, getting into a medical school is one. Moreover, the placements will also depend on the speciality and the super speciality that one chooses.

Infrastructure: It is one of the biggest tertiary care hos...

Extremely satisfied with the Christian Medical College, Vellore. Could't ask for any better.

Placements: Placements are not assured by the college though you get hundred percent chance of doing a great one year internship and equally fun and learning curve that is the bond period of two years that you complete, at the end of which you are practically a very good doctor in skill, theory and heart. The salary for an intern would range around 23,000 per month and varies for bond candidates.

Infrastructure: The Christian Medical College campus may not boast as big an area as other medical colleges like JIPMER or PIMS but the campus is still huge and very homely. It has a very vast history behind it and that makes all the students proud of their alma mater. Plus the hospital is massive and is also undergoing construction of another one five times the size of the original one which may increase the already flooding OPD number to five times. Every facility that you can think of is present ranging from...

Best college in India to make complete human beings, not just doctors.

Placements: In CMC Vellore, there's a system for the bond of 2 years following a 1-year rotatory internship in most of the departments. So post MBBS, the salary offered in the one-year internship is approximately Rs. 18,500. Post internship everyone has a bond of two years in mission hospitals in India, which is compulsory. The pay ranges from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 60,000 depending on where you are posted. Also, it is a good opportunity to prepare for PG as it is not that busy working in those hospitals.

Infrastructure: The college is best in infrastructure. Numerous college buses are available for the students. Good AC classrooms, seats and labs are available. It has the best library. Many online resources and journals are available in the library. Wi-Fi is available in most of the places. Hostels are provided with an amazing mess. The best thing is single rooms are available for everyone. Faculty and students play E-games. Free medical facilities including surgeries are provided for students. Multiple canteen...

Review of Christian Medical College.

Placements: Students got placed according to their interests. Almost 100% of the students got placed. Placements were offered in the same hospital, with a salary of Rs. 20,000 per month. They provide internships for students to gain work experience. Peripheral postings added to the clinical experience and patient care in critical situations helped us to build our hands-on skills.

Infrastructure: Internet facility is available for faculty members and students. There are three libraries on the campus. Extracurricular activiti...

It is a college which will mentor us completely. The place where you can learn and experience the feel of true learning with hands-on experience, which will enhance your confidence level and knowledge. This is the only college which provides excellent clinical knowledge using evidence-based approach.

Best college if you can make it to here.

Placements: I got admission by NEET UG obviously. Special category of sponsored students available but I come under general category. Admissions in June usually every year. Transparent process. One of the best medical college in India. Degree from here recognised abroad very well too. I would say the college has a Christian environment, but that is never a problem, just focus on excellence and that is all. No companies come to recruit, we have internship after 4.5 years of studying and we are paid well by t...

Our college provides good extracurriculars.

Placements: Since CMC is ranked among the best medical colleges in our country, placements for this college are highly rated. Placements for many medical institutions such as AIIMS MAMC and many others are held here. The alumni of this college are now earning salaries starting from 1 lac per month or upwards. A friend of mine who also graduated from this college is an orthopedist and is living abroad.

Infrastructure: Extracurricular activities are amazing. But many times they can keep you away from studies. But otherwise, there are good cultural activities. A good sports section is also available including football, basketball, tennis, cricket and you name it. The college has separate hostels for boys and girls each with all modern facilities, for boarding and other recreational activities. The hostels have their mess that costs Rs. 3,000 per month to provide good and hygienic food to students. Hostel accomm...
