No, BRAOU Hyderabad BSc admission is merit-based. Candidates are admitted to the programme based on merit in the last qualifying examination, i.e., Class 12 or equivalent. Moreover, the open university may also offer admission through a eligibility test conducted by the university.

The minimum eligibility for BSc at BRAOU dictates that candidates must pass Class 12 with science stream or must have work experience of one year in some Science & Technology organisation. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the University to apply online.

BRAOU BSc is a three-year course, which is divided into semester pattern. Yes, BRAOU degree is valuable. After getting graduation or postgraduation degree from the BRAOU, students are placed in top companies. In general, the university is visited by various companies like Dr Reddy's Laboratories and Mahindra & Mahindra Automotive Manufacturer Pvt. Ltd. BRAOU has a dedicated placement cell to assist students in their placement needs.

BRAOU Hyderabad admission 2024 commenced from Jan 8, 2024. The last date to apply was Feb 29. Moreover, the applications were accepted with a late of INR 200 till Mar 31. There is no other important admission date available on the open university official website as of now.

Students can study BRAOU Hyderabad BSc courses in Telugu or English medium. Moreover, the BSc courses in Botany, Chemistry, and Zoology are offered in Urdu. Once a medium of instructuin is chosen by the student in the first year, it then remains the same till the course completion. Thus, all the semester papers have to be written in one medium only.
