Ambedkar Open University Hyderabad MSc Courses& Fees 2025: Eligibility, Application Process

Candidates have to submit a few documents for admission confirmation. These documents are used for verification purposes. Some of the documents to be kept handy during BRAOU course admissions are:

Yes, Dr Br Ambedkar Open University Hyderabad offers a two-year MSc course at the postgraduate level. BRAOU offers MSc in seven specialisations. Candidates seeking admission to BRAOU MSc course must visit the official website of the University to apply online. Admission to BRAOU MSc course is based on candidates' performance in their last qualifying examination. 

BRAOU offers more than 25 UG, PG, PG Diploma and certificate programmes in different streams of Arts, Science, Management, etc. At the UG level, the University offers three-year BA, BSc, BCom and other courses to students, while the university offers MA, MSc, MBA, B.Ed, MLISc, etc. programmes at the postgraduate level. The total tuition fee for the BRAOU BCom programme is INR 7,700. Additionally, candidates also need to pay a lab fee every year based on the number of subjects chosen. Aspirants can pay the fee online via credit card/debit card/net banking. The fee amount mentioned is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is however, subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

BRAOU Hyderabad is one of the prestigious universities in teh state. It ensures students convenience with services at around 213 study centres across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. It is approved by RCI and has been accredited with a B+ grade by NAAC. 

Dr Br Ambedkar Open University offers a two-year MSc programme across seven specialisations. Aspirants need to complete a minimum of graduation to apply for MSc. Candidates can check all the specialisations in the table given below:   

BRAOU BSc is a three-year course, which is divided into semester pattern. Some of the specialisations in which the course is offered are Botany, Chemistry, Zoology, etc. These courses are further offered in three mediums, including Telugu, English, and Urdu. Candidates who have passed Class 12 are eligible for admission.

The duration of the BRAOU MLISc programme is one year. The maximum duration to complete the course is two years.

Candidates need to have some important documents copy at the time of BRAOU application form filling. These documents have to be uploaded for verification purposes. The required document are as follows:

• Scanned photocopies of education qualifications (SSC/ School leaving Certificate, Previous educational certificates)
• Scanned photo and signature in the prescribed format

To be eligible for BCom admission at BRAOU, candidates need to pay Class 12 or its equivalent examination, or from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS)/ Andhra Pradesh Open School Society (APOSS)/ TS Open School Society (TSOSS). 

The open university also accept applications of candidates two-year ITI or two-year vocational course after SSC or 3-year polytechnic courses are eligible for admission.

BRAOU Hyderabad offer BA under two categories: eligibility test and direct admission. Thus, the admission is granted based on the candidates performance in the last qualiying examination. Moreover, for certain course specialisations, aspirants may have to take an eligibility test for selection.

Apart from this, it is also necessary that the aspirants fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements.

The total fee for the BRAOU MLISc programme is INR 6,900.
