I love my college life, and I also miss my college days.

Placements: I got placed in various reputable companies, which are TCS, MRF Limited, Autosense and toit, and I also raised the training and placement cell of our college, which helps us in cracking interviews. The average package was 4.5 LPA, and the highest was 9 LPA. Top recruits are Axis Bank, Deloitte, Google, etc.

Infrastructure: Nice and well-equipped classrooms filled with smart features, Wi-Fi labs and a central library. The campus has its own mess for hostelers. Students can play various games.

Faculty: All faculty members are very loving and helpful. This course gives us knowledge about management, which makes students industry-ready. Exams have been conducted in the semester. Every semester has 4 subjects, and the pass percentage is 60 to 70%.

Other: Campus has its own canteen and juice corners for refreshment, as well as a ground for playing cricket and football. There are many cultural fests, events conducted every year and every festival celebrated at our college, Holi, garba, and Krishna Janmashtami.

College infrastructure now is good.

Placements: Very rare reserved seats are available for students. There are lots of students who are not able to get the package offered, despite having the highest marks in their exams. Minimum 80-85% got their internship offered. Top roles in my courses are lab technician and professor.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good and infrastructure is available for our course in biotechnology, but there are some small labs and there are fewer books in the library. Facilities for hostels are good for students who are far away from their homes, and the food quality is good. The mess food is fresh.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful in some contexts, but not all teachers are qualified. However, the course is good; it is not relevant in CG Bhilai, and industries are not yet ready. Semester exams in this college are likely difficult, but it's okay. The pass percentage is 30%.

Other: I would choose this college because it’s my hometown college. Maybe it’s the best source for this course in my city, that's why I will professionally work here. Events and fests were too good, and celebrities came to our college.

Placements: The quality of my college placement support is decent but not stellar, around 30-50 percent of civil students land on-campus offers. Companies like TCS, Wipro, ServiceNow and Accenture visit for recruitment. Average packages range between 3 LPA to 9 LPA with top performers landing up 8 LPA.

Infrastructure: My college campus feels modern and clean with spacious classrooms, smart labs and well-maintained civil engineering facilities. In my civil department, there's a dedicated lab for surveying, concrete, hydraulics, and practical tools are available. The library is equipped with digital resources and physical books, and the overall vibe is green and pleasant.

Faculty: Faculty of Karpagam Academy of Higher Education are knowledgeable, many have postgraduate degrees and years of teaching experience. The course in my college mixes theory with hands-on work, regular internal exams, lab projects, and even real-world internships are part of the schedule. Collaboration on site visits and competitions gives a nice touch to the learning.

Everything is good, but courses like MBA and engineering are absent.

Placements: You won't see placements for every stream, but they offer outsiders the opportunity to interview students. They allow us to write exams for several companies and banks, so they don't disappoint us and keep our expectations alive. Many students, including some of my friends, have got reputed jobs indeed.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good, the building is painted red and white, which suits the design of the college, the sports complex is perfectly built with seating stands, and the canteen is slightly small. I don't think that another college in Bhilai would have such a beautiful canteen.

Faculty: No bad or negative comment on faculty members, they are helping, whether they are administration staff or teaching staff. Curriculum and exams are not so difficult, depending on the stream and level, but as an average student, I don't feel the burden of curriculum and exams.

Other: I've done B.Com (2019-2022) from here, and now I am studying from 2024 to 2026. Great experience.

Placements: There was a placement cell. From the 3rd semester, students became eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture, Swift, etc., made offers for placements. There were a lot of offers in the internship program from many companies to our English students, including advertising and newspaper agencies, but none of them suited my dream career. As for job opportunities, there was a scope in many companies looking for students fresh out of college. There was great scope in publishing houses as editors, proofreaders, academic content writers, or SEO writers.

Infrastructure: The course curriculum was pretty good. Our college even gave a special entrance test preparation period after college hours. The curriculum was easier than that of other colleges outside Kerala. A minimum of 75% attendance was needed under university rules. Our college hostel provided the best infrastructure and faculty members. Rooms were always properly maintained, and the kitchen was well-maintained with good hygiene. The food provided was traditional, including both veg and non-veg options. Our hostel also had a well-maintained security system. The fee was affordable, and we could choose whether to have a single room or a shared room.

Faculty: St. Thomas College, Thrissur, had very good faculty. Faculty was experienced and highly qualified. Most of the teaching staff were permanent. Most departments had published research papers. Faculty members were also supportive. We had experienced professors as well as fresh faces among faculty. It was a very supportive and friendly faculty overall. The exam structure was the same as others. 25% internal assessment and 75% written exam. The internals took place throughout the semester. Each internal mark was 20, and the semester exam was 60 marks, making a total of 100. We followed the GPA system.

I am satisfied with my college. The college has good facilities and infrastructure.

Placements: Almost 100% of our college don't provide placements with that level of big companies. It offers local company placements, and students usually do internships elsewhere. The college provides contacts for placements, which help students find part-time jobs.

Infrastructure: The college has well-ventilated classrooms with green boards and Wi-Fi, an auditorium for events, a canteen, a sports ground, and a library with more than 26000 books. Food quality is good, medical facilities are available, sports events are organized from time to time, and games are also played.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and assignments are generally easy. Teachers are supportive. The teaching quality is good, and a B.Com degree prepares students for any commerce field. Projects and accounting exams are easy. They are held semester-wise, and the pass percentage is more than 50%.

Other: I chose this course because I am a CMA aspirant and B.Com is related to my course so it is easy for me to study.
