English and Foreign Languages University selects candidates for BA (Hons) based on CUET-UG score.  CUET UG is a national-level entrance exam conducted by NTA. Selected candidates are further required to participate in CUET-UG Counselling. Besides, aspirants need to pass Class 12 in any stream with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ Differently-abled categories) to apply for BA (Hons) admission.

Candidates appearing for EFLU entrance exam for PhD and PG Diploma courses need to pay an application fee of INR 500. The fee is INR 250 for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates.
