B.Tech. in Information Technology - Batch of 2028

Quite a good place with a student-friendly atmosphere and quality of education.
Placements: Since my current batch has still not passed out, passing out batches have around 65 to 70% placement. Highest package is 6.5 LPA, and median package is around 4.5 LPA for UG courses. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Infosys, Cisco, and startups. Top roles are SDE1, Test engineer, Software developer, System / Data analyst, and IT Support.
Infrastructure: Campus is equipped with good Wi-Fi facilities, and labs consist of necessary equipment for examinations. Classrooms are spacious, though I feel they could do with some added ventilation. Library has a large variety of books and computers on various topics and is peaceful for research and reading. Girls' and boys' hostels come in various sharing options. They are well-maintained, spacious, and have individual lockers and study tables for each student. Common washrooms and separate ones, and no issue with the plumbing and electricity.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, with above-average teaching quality as they hold doctorates in their field of teaching. They are friendly, supportive, and always ready to help students. They have active teaching methods like assignments, assessments, projects, and hands-on case studies, helping students adjust to real-world job market and become industry-ready. Their examination method, being online, is quite controversial when it comes to answering physics and math. Pass percentage is quite high, around 90% though students have backlogs in a few subjects.
Other: It is industry-relevant with technologies like Python, full stack, and blockchain. Has a hands-on focus through projects, hackathons, and internships. What could be improved about this course is addition of more mini projects instead of majority of theory, and more practical facilities, as students are made to carry laptops, which is quite inconvenient for students traveling long distances. Fests are pretty engaging and nice with a good crowd, though there is considerable ragging that goes unnoticed. And there could be more clubs to boost student morale.

Is Garden City University worth it in the Garden City?
Placements: Placements here don't satisfy me much. We have to find internships and everything on our own. I have not yet reached the placement stage so cannot say much as of now. I don't really keep any hope to be very honest. It is all in our hands.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, it's decent. It has a lot of open space and greenery. It depends on how we look at it. The food court offers a variety of options. Our blocks keep changing every semester. Some have been good, and some have not been good. The latest 4th-semester block which my department has got is not good, and it's on the 4th floor. The floor is completely paced. There is no open space with small and congested rooms. It can make us feel claustrophobic.
Faculty: Faculty members depend on luck. Some semesters/courses may be good, and some may not. The course curriculum is just fine I would say. It has started a new system of exams. The preparatory exams go in a viva mode and finals go in online mode where we have to take exams in the labs on the college portals.
Other: I chose this course because I found it interesting. I have to say this unfortunately, some teachers actually do not know how to behave. When there are issues raised for the same, there is no prompt solution. Hope the management looks at this. Events are good. We have a freshers event for freshers who join every year. We have an annual college fest called Gardenia which goes on for 3 days. Days like these are actually fun.

The college has good infrastructure and supportive faculty members which make it a great choice.
Placements: In our course, nearly 70-89% of students have secured placements in top fertility clinics, with many landing roles as laboratory technicians and embryologists at competitive entry-level salaries. As part of the curriculum, all students are guaranteed internships in their final semester, providing them with hands-on learning experiences alongside experienced embryologists and gynecologists.
Infrastructure: The campus offers excellent Wi-Fi with spacious classrooms and a well-equipped library with access to books and journals. Sports include cricket, football, kabaddi, basketball with courts. Hostels are well-equipped with 24-hour hot water, Wi-Fi, medical facilities, spacious rooms, and hygienic restrooms. The canteen serves a hygienic variety of foods.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive, helpful, and knowledgeable. The courses are relevant aiming to get students to industry-ready by practical field visits industrial visits, and internships. Semester exams will be a little difficult but exams conducted here are different and mostly easy.
Other: The course offered relevance to gain enough knowledge to get jobs, get to learn hands-on experiences with supportive faculty members, and good infrastructure either vibrant cultural events and fests.

Bachelors in Physiotherapy (BPT) - Batch of 2028

It is really great for extracurricular activities and facilities are also great.
Placements: The college is not really suitable for a course like physiotherapy but it is okay. We can join it for Bachelors. Placements for Physiotherapy are not that great but we can still join in for a bachelor's and join for some internships during college only for our own experience.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent. Facilities are all fine. The college campus is really clean and beautiful. The hostel facilities are really great like they provide good food which is decent. The hostel timings are fine. Wardens are really helpful and it is on the college campus.
Faculty: Teachers help us a lot. Students are also involved in the industry itself. Semester exams are conducted in a strict manner yet the questions are good. Exams make us prepared for the industry also because exams are conducted in a really mannered way. We have to perform well in our exams for semesters because they won't let it slide.
Other: The crowd here is okay. Many events are organised here. There is a lot to enjoy and learn.

Really good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: I don't have knowledge about that. The highest salary is 1.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is Rs 15,000 in my course according to me. Our college also helps the students to showcase their talent and improve their skills so that they can get a job accordingly.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well-managed and everything is working. The hostel is also good and they clean every once and week. Food quality is also very good. Sports are also considered in our college. All the facilities are provided which are required for the students.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable, very kind, as well as helpful. The course curriculum is very relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are not that difficult. They give questions about what they teach. The pass percentage is upto 85%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in life science subject. They can improve more practical teaching rather than theory. Cannot complain about events. The college organizes various events and also various clubs are available.

I’m absolutely satisfied.
Placements: The guys who are averaging more than 80 are placed in good companies. This college is pretty decent at placing students.
Infrastructure: The hostel is pretty decent, but it doesn't provide food. There is no library in the hostel, but there is Wi-Fi. There is one sports room to play games and such. Wardens are good enough. There are no time restrictions, but the gate closes at 10.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful in every way. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. I reckon this course is good, and teachers help us well. The semester exams are fair, and I think they get easier for us because we study.
