GLA University Greater Noida BTech Highlights 2026

BTech at GLA University, Greater Noida is offered in full-time mode. The course is offered for the duration of four-years.

The university provides three specialisations in the programme. The available specialisations are BTech in CSE, CSE (AI & ML) and ECE (VLSI).
Admissions in all courses are completely entrance based. The university accepts GLAET scores for enrolment in BTech.
Moreover, students also have to appear for a personal interview conducted by the university.
The CSE (AI & ML) programme is offered in collaboration with Microsoft. It includes live Industry projects and exposure to Robotics, AI & Generative technologies.

GLA University Greater Noida BTech Admission Process 2026

GLA University, Greater Noida BTech admissions are entrance based. The admission process is conducted online. All candidates are required to appear for GLAET exam and Interview conducted by the university to get GLA University Greater Noida admission. Mentioned below is the complete admission process:

STEP 1: GLA University Greater Noida BTech Application Form 2026

The first step of admission process is to submit the application form. Students can get the form online and offline both. Mentioned below is the GLA University Greater Noida BTech application process:

Go to official website of university at https://glauniversity.in:8085/Main/Admission
Fill all details and complete the registration process.
Login to the admission portal again and fill application form.
Pay the GLAET application fee of INR 1,000. It can be paid via Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking or UPI. Offline payment through fee challan is also accepted.

STEP 2: Appear for GLAET and Interview

After payment of application fee, students have to book test centre and time slot to appear for the entrance exam. Post this, students can generate and download the hall ticket. Candidates have to appear for the GLAET and interview in their selected slots. The university selects students on the basis of entrance scores and interview performance. Selected students may be notified by the university.

STEP 3: Admission Confirmation

After selection in the course, students have to submit their documents for verification by the university. The documents required are Class 10 & 12 marksheets, passport size photgraphs, ID proof, etc. The last step is to pay the admission fee to confirm the seat. Students can also book hostel or transport facility if required.

Good infrastructure, qualified faculty, & decent placements at GLA University, Greater Noida Campus.

Placements: I belong to GLA University, Greater Noida campus, pursuing B.Tech. Around 85-90% of students from CSE are placed. The highest package is around 40-45 LPA, the average package is around 6-8 LPA, and the lowest package is 3-4 LPA. Around 60-70% of the students from the college secured internships in HCL, Accenture, and TCS.

Infrastructure: At GLA University, the CSE department has top-notch infrastructure, including computer labs with upgraded systems, high-speed Wi-Fi across campus, smart classrooms with projectors, and a well-stocked central library. The hostel facilities are decent with security, Wi-Fi, and regular housekeeping. The mess food quality is average but hygienic, and the canteen offers a variety of options.

Faculty: Faculty are experienced and knowledgeable, including professors from IIT, IIMs and industry experts. The curriculum is industry-like and designed to make student industry ready with practical projects and skills. Exams are taken very seriously here. In our college, we have mid sem exams and end sem exams.

I am absolutely satisfied with the college.

Placements: The placement cell is active throughout the final year and conducts regular training sessions, aptitude classes, and mock interviews. The highest package offered is 60 LPA at Microsoft. Some of the major recruiters for my course included TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, Google, etc.

Infrastructure: If we talk about the infrastructure of my course like labs are well-equipped with projectors, Wi-Fi, and digital resources. We have so many labs. Everything is well managed. The hostel facilities are good, as right now the college does not have its own hostel, we have tie up with a hostel. But hostels are clean and secure.

Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and friendly, and all the faculty members are knowledgeable and industry-integrated. The course curriculum is relevant and regularly updated to match the industry requirements. The sem exam are moderate difficult, mainly based on the concepts.

I feel like I should have chosen to self-study.

Placements: GLA Noida is a new campus. A few internships are offered that I know of, and most senior students are in their second year. In the Mathura campus this year, more than 1,300 students got placed. In my course, i.e., AI/ML, I think IBM, FMAANG, and several other companies visited the campus. However, I don't have much information yet as I am in my 1st year.

Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi in college, but they have blocked games and some shady websites as they use Fortinet. We have a big room for a library, but there are close to no books. Currently, in the library, all shelves are empty. Classrooms are decent, but it is hard to see the board from the last seat. Food in the hostel is decent, and twice a week, we get non-vegetarian food. Medical facilities are weak. There is no place for outdoor sports in either the college or the hostel. The warden closes the hostel at 9 PM.

Faculty: Teachers try to be too helpful, and sometimes even take away our phones if we use them in class. They treat us as kids. The course curriculum is industry-relevant with no useless subjects. Subjects in my AI ML course are WebDev, quantum mechanics, AIML, programming, and calculus. Exams often include out-of-the-taught syllabus questions. Exams are generally pretty hard, especially maths. Teachers focus on every student, as there are a few students.

Other: I chose this course because I think AI has a big scope in the future. It would be great if the teacher interrupts students less, so that they can study better by watching some online courses. It would have been great if they taught AI ML students IOT just like core students, because robotics is related to AI ML.

The Greater Noida campus.

Placements: If we talk about the placement percentage, it's 86%, and the highest package is 55 LPA. Global MNCs, including Google, Amazon, and Microsoft, visit often, with over 550 companies in total. The internship percentage is 30%. Recently, 4 students from GLA University got internships at Microsoft.

Infrastructure: Well, if I talk about my course individually, all facilities, whether it's Wi-Fi, the library, or classrooms, are available. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned with a digital learning environment. The quality of food in the hostel mess is perfectly fine and feels like home.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and the teaching quality is fine. If I talk about just my course, it's perfectly fine. The industry-based curriculum makes it even better, as students get to learn industry-ready skills that are important for placement. The exam level is different, but professors do help with it.

GLA University Greater Noida Off-Campus Review.

Placements: Since this is an off-campus college and the first batch started on the 18th of September 2024, we need some years to get through it. As for the main campus, which is GLA University Mathura, the placement records are fine, with the highest package being 55 Lacs per annum, whereas 5 Lacs per annum is the average for B.Tech students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our university is fine. Most importantly, the classrooms and laboratories are good. But the grounds are yet to be designed. The Wi-Fi and other amenities, like the computer systems, use i5 13th gen Intel core processors, which are powerful systems used in computer labs. The library is also fine but not too big compared to GLA University Mathura. In short, the infrastructure of the campus is quite good, and in the near future, it will develop soon.

Faculty: Since this university is an off-campus of GLA University Mathura, only the B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering and Artificial Intelligence branches have started, so there are fewer faculty members compared to other colleges and universities. All the faculty members are post-doctorate professors, and they specialize in teaching. In a year, there are two semesters, with each semester having two examinations: Mid-semester examination (which is for 30 marks theory + 15 marks internal) and End-semester examination (which is for 45 marks theory + 10 marks internal). The level of the exams is difficult.

Other: Other information: The fees for the first-year B.Tech CSE AIML student are 220,000 INR, and for the CSE student, it is 180,000 INR. The payments can be paid semester-wise. As for the general class, the above-given details are true. The scholarship depends on the student’s score on his/her 12th board examinations, and the students can also avail of a scholarship from the Uttar Pradesh government. The campus is generally quiet at night, and since the college is short on hostel infrastructure, campus timings are from 9 AM sharp to 5 PM, with a lunch break from 1:00 to 1:50 PM.

Review of 2nd year student experience at GLA University, Greater Noida.

Placements: Over the last 5 years, 86 percent of students got placed in our course. The lowest package offered ranges from 6.3-7.5 LPA, and the highest package offered ranges from 55-60 LPA. The top recruiting companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, etc., hire students. Even students from 1st year got placements.

Infrastructure: As of now, we live in a hostel that our college co-coordinated with, and it provides everything, from transport to food, gym, library, etc. If there is any problem that we are facing, then we can complain, and they fix it within that day only. The quality of food served is okay.

Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and interact with students. They focus on the growth of every student. The plus point is that our batches are divided into 60 students per class, so the lectures are less crowded, very interactive, and interesting.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in the computer science field. Our college provides theoretical knowledge as well as practical knowledge and hands-on experience. I find it very useful for projects that I work on. In class, I get to know how to include them in my work and how to get the best out of them.
