Himalayan University offers an Online BCom course lasting three years. The course is offered in the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) Mode. Himalayan University was established in 2013. It is a non-profit university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India under section 2f of UGC act 1956. The university was established with a vision to provide quality education to all in the state of Arunachal Pradesh and to develop and uplift the economy through higher education to raise the literacy rate that make up especially North Eastern part of India as well as all other parts of India. The university is a private university, established by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh. The university has been awarded as Excellent Progressive University (North East) by AICTE in 12th World Education Summit 2018 Elets Awards held on 9 & 10 August 2018 at New Delhi.
