The exam pattern of ICAR AICE JRF SRF consists of a total of three sections:Section A: This section has 72 subject-specific Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The first 20 questions are common and subject-based; a total of 72 specific subjects. Section B: This section consists of the subjects chosen by the students for PhD and there are a total of 50 MCQ questions included in this core group. 

TNAU admissions for students belonging to states other than Tamil Nadu are facilitated via ICAR. Thus, students seeking admission to university’s BSc Hons courses can apply via the ICAR UG exam. ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) is the body which releases their form every year in April / May.
