Most of the IT companies come for BCA, MCA, computer science engineering, and B.Com students with good results.

For recruits, you should look for off-campus too, in B.Sc. , chances of jobs are very rare through placements, and it's obvious.

Totally disappointed by the management, faculty, and facilities.
Placements: This college doesn't provide direct placements, but it does provide opportunities to experience volunteering and internships in the 4th/5th semester. Now, both activities are mandatory for each student. Students are recruited by NGOs or other non-profit organizations.
Infrastructure: It doesn't have Wi-Fi at all, and mobile data also doesn't work in the Mathematics Department. We have 3–4 classrooms for different semesters and topics and a separate room for self-study if you want to. We have a library outside our department, but I usually don't like it much because the environment is not suitable for studying. This college doesn't provide hostel facilities. We do have a sports section, but only seniors are allowed to use it, not juniors.
Faculty: Our college does provide classes, but they are not relevant if you want to study deeply because the class starts 30 minutes late and ends early. Only one or two questions are solved on the board, and due to noise and the large number of students, you can't even get a chance to ask a question.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements. Faculty and facilities are good.
Placements: There is no placement in the Geography department. There is no placement, so how is it possible for the highest or the lowest package to be touched. Also, no recruiting companies come to recruit students in my Geography course. Students do get internships for this course.
Infrastructure: There are facilities available in my course. Wi-Fi, a canteen, a lab, an indoor gaming room (such as chess, table tennis, and carrom), and bathrooms are also available. The bathrooms are neat and clean. Every day, staff members come and clean them. Water facilities are also available in my hostel.
Faculty: All teachers are very well educated. They make students industry-ready. Around 60–65% of students are placed. At the time of semester exams, teachers are very strict. No mobile phones are allowed. They regularly check students at the time of entry. The passing percentage is 40%.

An honest review of my course.
Placements: About 75 percent of students are placed in my course, with internships around 65 percent. The packages offered here are quite low, as the minimum package is 2 LPA-3 LPA and the highest is around 4 LPA-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, HDFC Bank, Wipro, Infosys, various NGO etc. Common roles offered here are counsellor, HR executive, assistant director, behaviour therapist, human resources specialist, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available are quite nice. There is a big green campus and big smart classrooms, land, and laboratory for every department. A well-stocked library and Wi-Fi facilities for all are available. Sports and medical facilities are also present and there are separate hostels for boys and girls. Most of the rooms are shared by 2-3 students. All other basic facilities are also available in the hostel, like drinking water, Wi-Fi, etc. Mess food is quite oily, but the taste is acceptable and average. I will rate the food quality 3 out of 5.
Faculty: The teachers here are helpful. They help with all your doubts. They are knowledgeable and hold degrees from the best colleges and universities. The course curriculum is not that relevant, but it does make you industry-ready. In my opinion, it is for degree purposes. The semester exams are moderate, and you can score easily by studying in a good manner.
Other: I chose this because of career opportunities and affordability. I like almost everything about my course. I don't like to improve anything about my course. Events and fests are not organised here that much. Scholarships are also provided and extracurricular activities are also held here. Scholarships are mainly for girls.

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) - Batch of 2028

A good college for Computer Science in Patna.
Placements: Companies come for placement drives in college every year with about 70 percent placement rates. Some companies are TCS, Wipro, and Accenture. They hire students for the roles of data analyst, software developer, and IT support. The average package is around 4 LPA-5 LPA.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good, from the computer lab to the robotics lab. The library is also there with a lot of academic books and a lot of space to study. The only downgrade is that you have to take a private hostel for your studies, but private hostels are available in large numbers.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. BCA curriculum is relevant and best for today's standards. It makes students industry-ready and best for a job. Semester exams are difficult and students have to study hard to pass. Pass percentage is around 80 percent.

Placements are not an option mostly, but good for getting a degree.
Placements: Hi, I'm Varsha, a student currently in the College of Commerce, Arts and Science, Patna. This college is good if you want a degree only or are doing this course along with either a professional course. In my batch (2025-2029) B.Com Honours, there are about 950 students in the non-self-finance batch, and there is another batch for self-finance students who have different classes than us. The average packages offered are low to 0. Placement drives are very rare, I have not heard about any placement drive. 1 percent of students got placed.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility provided by the college. There are labs, Wi-Fi, classrooms, and a library. The canteen is there, but there is no food. Students do play sports and games in the college campus. There is a volleyball court. There are different departments with different Wi-Fi connections. Overall, it's average.
Faculty: Teachers are indeed qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is average, but the teachers are supportive and helpful if you need them. I believe the students get to learn different important things, but there is still more scope to learn. Semester exams are easy to moderate level, and the passing percentage is almost 80-90 percent. The exams themselves are of a moderate level, so I can manage easily. Tests and extracurricular activities are going on almost the whole year, that's a good thing.
Other: I chose this course because I am doing a professional course along with my college degree and it helps me to take time out for it.

Dissatisfied because of placements.
Placements: Around 25–30% of students in my course were placed. The package offered to MBA and MCA students was about 16 LPA. Students who completed B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com received packages of around 2.5–3 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Wipro, TCS, HDFC Bank, and Infosys, but recruitment opportunities in my course were very limited. About 40–45% of students got internships from my course. The roles offered included Counsellor, HR Executive, Assistant, Behaviour Therapist, Project Coordinator in NGOs, and similar positions.
Infrastructure: There was everything available in my department, including Wi-Fi, labs, smart classrooms, and a well-stocked library. There were separate hostels for boys and girls. Rooms were generally shared by 2–3 students. Wi-Fi, mess facilities, drinking water, and security services were available. The campus was very large. The food quality in the mess was average.
Faculty: Teachers were knowledgeable, experienced, and supportive. But there were issues with syllabus completion. Sessions were often delayed. The course was partly curriculum-relevant, but industry readiness was limited. The exams were easy to moderate and not highly difficult. The passing percentage was 33%.
Other: I chose this course because it helped me understand human behavior, emotions, personality, learning, motivation, and mental processes. I did not want to improve anything about the course and liked everything about it. Events were organized, but they were fewer and smaller compared to those at private universities. These included annual days, freshers' parties, Independence Day, Republic Day celebrations, etc. Scholarships were also provided, especially for girls.
