List of NEET PG 2026 centre will be released by NBE. Students have to select exam cities during application process. NBE, exam conducting body will upload NEET PG 2026 exam cities list along with official information brochure. It must be noted, NBE tries to allot NEET PG 2026 exam centre as per preference provided by students. But it doesn't happen always due to various reasons not defined by NBE. Students get to know exact centre through admit card. NEET PG 2026 exam date will be released soon. Exam is expected to be held in August 2026. NEET PG admit card contains details such as name, date of birth, address of NEET PG exam centres allotted to them, and other exam day guidelines.

Q:   Does NBE allot NEET PG test city on first come first basis?
A: 

Yes. Candidates have to provide prefrences of test cities while filling application form for NEET PG. It is to be noted the city is chosen by candidate himself / herself at the time of online submission of application form, while the allotment of test centre/venue in the chosen city is done by exam authority. NBE will allot the name and address of exact test centre along with the NEET PG admit card.

Q:   How many exam cities can I choose while filling the NEET PG application form?
A: 

A candidate can choose only one exam city while filling the application form of NEET PG 2025. Since the number of exam cities is limited in the case of NEET PG 2025, the choice is limited. Candidates must note the application form for NEET PG is released online and candidates have to submit the form there only. NEET PG application process comprises steps such as registration, filling details in the application form including personal, qualification, and test centre information, uploading documents, and paying application fee.

How to Select NEET PG Exam Centre 2026?

Applicants can read the steps on how to select the NEET PG 2026 exam centre choice mentioned below, candidates are advised to go through the same.

  • Applicants have to decide their preference for the exam city for NEET PG 2026 priority wise while filling the application form
  • After completing all the steps such as personal details, academic details and application fee payment, applicants will be asked to choose their NEET PG 2025 exam city preference
  • Applicants should keep in mind that they will be allotted NEET PG 2026 exam centres on a first come first serve basis by NBE
  • While filling the application form, on the exam city selection page, candidates have to fill their preference of exam city by select their choice of state and city for the exam centre for NEET PG 2026. A maximum of three preferences can be filled.
  • A list of NEET PG exam centres 2026 along with the total number of seats that are available in the particular test centres of a city will be provided to the applicants. Candidates have to click on ‘Save & Proceed’ after selecting and locking their preferences
  • The details of the allotted exam centre will be mentioned in the NEET PG 2026 admit card

Q:   Can I get test city of my choice in NEET PG?
A: 

Candidates may or may not get test city of their choice in NEET PG. Though the exam conducting body tries to allot candidate the exam city of their preference but sometimes it is not possible as the allotment is done on first come first serve basis. The choice of city also depends on availability of the test centres in a particular city. It must be noted once allotted the test city can't be changed in any circumastances.

Q:   What documents do I need to carry along with NEET PG admit card?
A: 

Candidates need to carry a set of documents along with NEET PG admit card at NEET PG exam centre. If a candidate chooses to carry an e-Aadhaar card as an identity proof on the day of the examination, he/ she should ensure that the Aadhaar number and photograph are clearly printed on it. Some of the documents which need to carry to NEET PG exam centre:

  • A print out of NEET PG 2025 admit card with photograph
  • Photocopy of Permanent / Provisional SMC / MCI registration
  • A valid and non-expired photo ID proof such as PAN card, Driving license, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhar Card (with photograph)

NEET PG 2026 Admit card

NBE will release NEET PG 2026 admit card online. Usually admit card is released a week before exam. Date for NEET PG 2026 admit card will be provided along with official brochure. NEET PG 2026 admit card contains important details such as candidate's name, date of exam, roll number, name and address of exam centre etc. Students should carry NEET PG admit card along with important documents to exam centre on exam day.

Q:   How to change test centre for NEET PG?
A: 

There is no provision to change NEET PG test centre once allotted. NBE tries to allot the test centre as per the preferences declared with application form, but if it doesn't happen, candidates have to accept it. NBEMS reserves its right to allocate test centres anywhere in the country irrespective of the test city chosen by the candidate to maintain the sanctity of examination. "Requests for change of testing centre / city shall not be entertained on any ground. Candidates are advised not to canvass for the same," the official brochure says.

Q:   Can I carry calculator at NEET PG test centre?
A: 

No. Candidates can't carry any electronic item such as mobile phone, calculator, bluetooth, earphone to NEET PG centre. Some of the items which are not allowed at NEET PG centre have been enlisted below:

  • Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), notes, writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, etc.
  • All ornaments like bracelets, Ring, Earrings, Nose-pin
  • Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap etc.
  • Any eatable items and water bottle are also banned.

 

Q:   Will NBE send the NEET PG 2025 admit card via post?
A: 

No, NBE will not send the NEET PG 2025 admit card via post. The admit card will be uploaded online on the official website of NBE, and candidates will have to download it through their registration login credentials. Candidates are advised to regularly check the website for updates and download the admit card as soon as it is available to avoid any inconvenience. After downloading admit card, candidates should check it throughly. There must not be error in any detail. Admit card for NEET PG has to be carried to the exam centre else candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam. 

Q:   Who releases the list of centres for NEET PG?
A: 

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) releases the list of centres for NEET PG. Candidates have to choose a preference of the exam centre while applying online for the exam. NBE will allot the exact name and address with the admit card. Candidates will have to download the admit card once the exam-conducting body activates the link online.

In such situation, candidates are advised to enter other preferred city where he/she wants to appear for the exam. In case testing seat is not available in the State/UT in which the candidate prefers to appear in NEET PG, he/she can choose the option others from the list of States/UTs at the time of selection of the State/UT during online submission of application form.
