Review of Government Holkar Science College.

Placements: Not many companies visit our college for placements. Students get placed off-campus in BCA. The minimum package ranges from 3-4 LPA. Students got internships in every IT sector field and non-IT also. Every year students get placed through this course. Students should at least score 7 CGPA and above to get placed.

Infrastructure: Labs are available for 2-3 hours a day to all classes for real-time experience and teachers are available to solve our problems. Wi-Fi is available in the labs. Smart classes are there to teach them easily. In the library, there is a silent environment, and we can study.

Faculty: Faculty members of the college are highly qualified. They all are ready to help students. The teaching quality is excellent. Semester exams in the college are not very difficult. The passing CGPA is 4-5, and we can easily clear the semester exams.

Other: I chose this course because I like to opt for a career in the IT sector. It provides programming and computer knowledge.

It is a good college for toppers who got the best percentage in the 12th standard.

Placements: Only 30% of students get placements. The lowest package is 1.5 LPA, and the highest package is 3 LPA. TCS, Infosys, etc., visit the college for placements. Mini companies like Tata also visit the college because it is a government college. There are not many technical courses. Only B.Sc and BCA are the technical courses enrolled in the college.

Infrastructure: The college has many buildings, classrooms, and Wi-Fi, which are very good. Many students belong to the low category and have to achieve hostel rights. Hostel girls have the proper rights but in the hostel, the issue is that it does not maintain cleanliness. Students will not come in the night due to the hostel's time. Students go out of the hostel if they have a problem. The hostel provides food from time to time, and it expects payment from the government policy.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, and they make students study subjects very well. The college is autonomous. However, if students study hard, they will become toppers. There are many good conditions in the classes. There are electrical boards, and we can see videos or photos and PDFs to understand the topics easily.

Other: I chose this course because of social media. There are many best things, and it is a government college. The college does not have many placements. It is a good college. There are many facilities, many sports, yoga, etc.

General information about Government Holkar Science College.

Placements: The average of 50 percent students were placed in this college every year in my course. The highest package is 10 LPA, the lowest package is 2.8 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. Many companies like Impetus, Tasks, and Infosys come here and give placements.

Infrastructure: The college is highly facilitated, it has modern laboratories, very good infrastructure, and was A+ rated by NAAC in 2024, but its hostel is very bad. The worst quality of food is served in their hostel. The condition of the girls’ hostel is better in comparison to the boys’ hostel.

Faculty: Most of the teachers in my department are guest faculty and not well trained. It is manageable for a student to study with these types of teachers. The semester exam of this college is very simple and easy. 75 percent attendance is necessary to learn in this college.

Placements: In Government Holkar Science College, a minimum of 75 percent is required for admission, and this year the college will be promoted by NAAC with an "A+" grade. The average package is 3.5 Lacs. The highest package of this college is 10 Lacs per annum. It is the best college ever.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is the best. This year, Jio has sponsored the college with a 5G network. It is Madhya Pradesh's first government college to have a 5G network. I live outside, but my friends live in the college hostel, and they tell me that the college facilities are very good.

Faculty: In Holkar Science College, the teachers are not just good; they are much better. As a student, I recommend other students to get admitted to Holkar Science College for studies because the faculty’s teaching skills are much better. During exams, teachers start paying more attention to the students.

Other: I am interested in engineering, but since there are no courses available in engineering here, I chose BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application).

Review of Government Holkar Science College, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Placements: The placement cell is too bad at interacting with students, and jobs are offered only because of the students themselves. TCS and Wipro are the companies that often come. The lowest package is 1.5 LPA, and the highest package is 26 LPA. Roles offered are data analyst, lab assistant, etc.

Infrastructure: Hostel management is too bad. The buildings are not well maintained, and food and all are too bad; the library is too good. Books are easily available; there are daily newspapers available, and even those books that are needed are met by staff. Wi-Fi is only allowed to be used by office staff; no students are allowed to access it.

Faculty: The faculty is too good, and the study environment is so favorable, and the exams are conducted on time with the perfect regulation of the Madhya Pradesh government, and the teachers are so dedicated to their work that even the servers are maintained by the college staff itself. Most relevant courses here are B.Sc. in CS, BCA, and B.Sc. in biotechnology.

My college is good in placement, but the infrastructure of my college is the best.

Placements: In my course, BCA, 45 percent of my batchmates got placed in mid-level paid jobs, and 55 percent of students were not placed. So, the placement of my college is average. In my college, the highest package is 8 LPA, the average package is 3 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA in the BCA course. In my college, top recruiting companies such as Sony, Reliance, Flipkart, and many more hire. In my course, almost all students got internships. In my course, BCA, you learn about MS Office, web development, app development, and many more.

Infrastructure: In my college, the facilities are 10/10. They have a cool library, e-library, Wi-Fi labs, and digital boards in classrooms. They provide you with an e-library to upgrade your skills in web development and whatever you want to achieve. They provide you with a digital board in the classroom that helps you in your study.

Faculty: The teachers of my course are really helpful, and they are highly qualified, skilled, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is 9/10. Yes, they provide you with skill development and personality development periods that help you stand out in the industry. The difficulty level of the semester is mid-level. All you need is to study hard. In my college, 75% attendance is compulsory, and they have a CCE system.

Other: The BCA course is almost similar to B.Tech, and all you need is skill. That's why I chose this course over B.Tech, and you also know that B.Tech is a higher-paid course. That's the reason I chose BCA. In my course, BCA, there is no fest, events, and all; this is a government college, so there are no events. My college provides the Medhavi Scholarship. In my college, they have NCC, NSS, and the Physical Education Department, so the sports and physical education are 10/10.
