The MAT 2026 May session registrations have started for admission to the MBA course. For the PBT mode, the registration deadline is May 25, 2026, with the exam scheduled for May 31, 2026. For the CBT mode, the last date to register is Jun 8, 2026, for the exam taking place on Jun 14, 2026.
A few more updates are given below:
- The CMAT 2026 result has been declared for admission to the MBA/PGDM/MMS courses. Students can download their scorecards by logging into the official website.
- The CG PET 2026 application portal is now closed for admission to the BE/BTech course. As per the official notice, the CG PET exam 2026 will be conducted on May 14, 2026.
- The CAT 2026 registration is expected to start in the Aug, 2026 for admission to the MBA course.
- The NIMCET 2026 application process is now over for admission to the MCA course. The NIMCET exam 2026 will be held tentatively on Jun 6, 2026.
- The ATMA 2026 July session registrations have started for admission to the MBA/PGDM/MMS courses. The last date to register is Jun 30, 2026, with the exam being scheduled for Jul 12, 2026.
- The GATE COAP 2026 seat allotment results for round 1 have been released for admission to ME/MTech/PhD programmes. Candidates can choose to accept & freeze, retain & wait, or reject & wait by May 13, 2026 (till 9 AM).
MATS University Courses & Fees 2025
Admission can be done by applying for courses at the institute. The institute offers B.E. / B.Tech, B.Sc. and M.E./M.Tech. There is a wide range of specialisations offered for these courses. The NTA has released the exam dates for the JEE Main 2026 Session 2. Paper 1 (BE/ BTech) will be administered between April 2, 2026 to April 9, 2026. The Session 2 registration will open in the last week of January. The applicants are requested to fill the application form available on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
CAT cutoffs are usually not announced with the CAT result. The CAT cutoffs are also not released to the public.
They are published after a few days of the result announcement when the IIMs and other colleges start their shortlisting process. The IIMs opens their shortlisting window based on the CAT cut-offs two to three days after the result announcement. The CAT percentile of candidates shortlisted for the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI) can be considered the cut-off for that IIM. For example, if a candidate with a CAT percentile of 99 belonging to the General category is selected for the WAT/GD-PI of IIM Calcutta, then the CAT cut-off for IIM Calcutta is 99 percentile. Only those candidates who make it to the WAT/GD-PI round of IIMs will get to know the cut-offs.
Yes, candidates can fill out the CAT application form on one day and pay the fee on another day, as it is not mandatory to register for the CAT exam, fill out the application form, or pay the fee in one go. The registration and application window will remain open for candidates who have registered for the exam and created an ID until the last date of form submission. The applicant can log in and check/fill/edit the CAT application form anytime during the form-filling period. Only the phone number and email ID will not be editable once registration is complete. However, candidates need to submit the CAT form and application fee before the deadline to be eligible to appear for the exam. The CAT application form will not be submitted until the fee payment is completed. The fee can be paid via debit card, credit card, net banking, and UPI wallet.
