MATS University offers admission based on merit and valid entrance exam scores. Therefore, candidates must secure the minimum aggregate in Class 12 to seek admission at UG level courses. Whereas, for PG level courses, candidates must secure valid scores in graduation.

Moreover, candidates must secure valid scores in accepted entrance exams such as JEE Main, LSAT, CAT, XAT, MAT, GATE and others. Candidates are shortlisted for the counselling process and after all the selection rounds, final merit list is drawn. Final admission is offered once the shortlisted candidates pay the fees for seat confirmation.

There are some meritorious based direct admissions; however, many programs like BTech, MBA, MTech, and LL.M. provide entrance exam results for admission in these programs. MATS University offers Chancellors scholarships to meritorious students to support their education. Chancellors scholarship is purely based on the student's performance in the qualifying exams. A student who has scored brilliantly in Class 12 or Graduation can take advantage of this scholarship program. The candidates may get 10% to 30% fee waiver if they scored good percentage in the qualifying exams.
