Yes, there is seat reservation for the BTech course. MIT Art Design and Technology University follows the reservation Policy as prescribed by the Government of Maharashtra. Forty percent of the seats are reserved for the students domiciled in the State of Maharashtra. That means sixty percent of seats are open. Those seats can be allotted to anyone including Maharashtra Candidates, as these seats are not reserved for OMS.

To secure admission to the M.Tech course, candidates must register and fill out the online application form available on the official website of MIT Art Design and Technology University. To be eligible for the M.Tech course, candidates must have BTech/BE (Food Science / Food Technology) or four years' equivalent degree programme in Food Science and Food Technology passed with 50% aggregate (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category).Candidates must also have valid scores in the entrance exams, i.e, GATE or PERA CET Score. The university prepares the admission merit lists with candidates ' qualifications and entrance exam scores. After the merit lists are released, candidates can finalize their admission by paying the MIT School of Food Technology M.Tech fees.
