OP Jindal University BCom course admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. To begin, students must fill out the application form for the preferred BCom course. Once the application stage is completed, the admission committee starts the shortlisting process.

Applications for the BCom course can be submitted online and offline. The steps to be followed for each mode are as follows:

Step 1: Visit the official website of OP Jindal University at https://www.opju.ac.in/BCom.

Step 2: Click on the 'Admission Open' banner at the bottom.

Step 3: Register and make a new candidature account.

Step 4: Fill out the application form.

Step 5: Pay the application fee. OP Jindal University BCom application fee 2024 is INR 1,000.

Step 6: Submit the form.

Offline: Those who wish to apply offline can download the application form available on the official website of the university. After taking a printout and filling it out, students must attach essential documents and a DD of INR 1,000 with it. Then, that application form is to be sent out to the admissions office of the university.

Note: Candidates of reserved category (SC/ST/OBC) of Chhattisgarh domicile and female candidates are exempted from the application fee.

STEP 2: Merit List Release

Once the application portal is closed, the university releases a merit list containing the names of shortlisted applicants. Candidates whose names appear on the merit list move to the counselling stage.

STEP 3: Counselling Process

The BCom seats are allocated in order of rank, as shown in the merit list and the university's seat intake. For each round of counselling, a fresh merit list is released.

The management of this college is very slow, and every announcement will be provided.

Placements: More than 50 students enrolled for this course. The highest package offered is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Jindal, etc. More than 90% of students get internships from this course. Top roles offered in this college are accountant, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is above average, but not that good. Facilities offered here are also above average. AC classrooms are provided. The mess food is also good as we feel like home food. Medical facilities are also there whenever needed. There is also a canteen where the food is great. Many sports and games facilities are also there.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful to some extent, and not all are the same. Some teachers are good, and some are just for the namesake. Some like and some don't, and everyone has different points of view, so it is up to us whether we like them or not. It totally depends on our experience.
