A comprehensive review of BHM.
Placements: In my course, 70% of students secured placements. The highest package was INR 15 lakh and the lowest package was INR 3 lakh.
Our college gets tied up with many leading hotels like Crowne Plaza, Fortune, Meridian, and Gateway Surat. 100% of students got internships in the 3rd semester in many states and in hotels like Grand Hyatt in Goa. I personally got an internship in Goa.
Infrastructure: The campus provides a variety of facilities, including comprehensive WiFi access across all departments. It offers modern classrooms, practical training labs (including kitchen and front office simulation), a well-stocked library, access to industry-standard technology, strong industry connections for internships and guest lectures, support services like career counseling, culinary studios, and event management space. However, since I do not live in the hostel, I don't have detailed information about that part.
Faculty: The instructors are supportive, highly qualified, and knowledgeable, providing clear explanations that improve the overall quality of education. It covers core subjects like food production, front office operations, and hospitality marketing, alongside specialized courses and practical training through internships. It makes students well prepared for a career in hospitality. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty, with a passing requirement of 5 CGPA.
Other: Choosing a BHM offers a wide idea of hospitality skills, business management, and practical experience, making it deal for those passionate about customer service and pursuing a rewarding career in a diverse and growing industry. Our college organizes various events, including Unifest, farewell, Fashion fiesta and more.
