One of the best colleges for pharmacy students.
Placements: Minimum 90% of students will get placements from our college. The average package is 12 LPA. The lowest average package is 6 LPA. The college is very good at placements. It has a connection with good and big top companies. One of the best colleges for placements.
Infrastructure: This college has one of the best infrastructure. I am a Pharma.D student. Classrooms are good and labs are too clean. Library is also good, we will get required books from library. The hostel is also good. The canteen food is also good.
Faculty: In this college, teachers are very helpful and qualified. They are experienced and also knowledgeable. The curriculum activity is too good. Lecturers are too friendly with students and also they are very supportive. They are very good in nature.
Other: I am studying in Pharma.D course, the course is very good in India. Pharma.D students don't have that much value but they hope every student will get a good position in the future. University provides so many scholarships, and they are very helpful for studying. The events held are very good.

No good management and not worthy of the fee we pay.
Placements: In this HKES trip, as of the year 2024-25, there is a very low scope of getting placed in a good package. The average package would be 3.5 LPA if you get a chance. About 25-30% of students get placed. The top role for students is a pharmacist in the pharmaceutical industry. The companies include, mainly, Karnataka and Bangalore-based companies.
Infrastructure: The college management is worse, and they take funds for building, but there is a lot of corruption in the management. Washrooms are horrible, we have complained several times, but no action taken. There is no hostel for college, but there is a boys' hostel for HKES society students who want to stay there. It is not well-maintained, but you can survive. There is a library and Wi-Fi, but they are no use. Classrooms are good, but we get a shortage of classrooms when everyone has class at the same time. There are only limited sports and activities.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, but most of them are average, so we have to help ourselves. There is limited lab equipment for students to be industry-ready. Exams are tough, and we have to work hard and make notes on our own. There is a pretty good passing percentage.
Other: I have chosen this because I wanted to go into the medical field, but I missed my MBBS seat. Events and fests are not that great. They are only held on the college campus or auditorium. Scholarships are given to government-seat students, and if you come through management, you are left with nothing. It would be great if they took us to the hospital from the 2nd year and provided exposure, but they don't do that.

The best college in the state and among the top pharmacy colleges in the country.
Placements: Many companies come every year to our college for placements. The percentage of students getting a job through college is 70%. The highest package was 5 lakh per annum and the lowest package was 2 lakh per annum. Top roles offered in our course are pharmacists.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good, but when you talk about sports like ground, indoor stadium, and auditorium, we do not have such facilities in our college. The classrooms and the labs are well equipped and well maintained, but unfortunately, you don't have AC rooms or AC labs.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful and supportive. Teaching quality is also good; this course is curriculum-relevant and makes students industry-ready. The difficulty of semester exams is high, but the passing percentage is also high. Teaching quality is also one of the best in this college.
Other: I chose this course because I want to be a clinical pharmacist. I want to maintain that the pharmacy profession is an important unit of science.

It's a mess college. Really not worth the lacs of money we pay.
Placements: Our college doesn't have an every-year placement thing. But in the last 3 years, 2 companies have approached our college for placements. But students can find jobs by approaching the companies themselves. After doing Pharma. D and building skills, you can surely get a job.
Infrastructure: Our college doesn't provide Wi-Fi. So, yeah, get your phones recharged. Some of the labs are well-maintained, but some of them are not in good condition. The hostel facility is not in collaboration with the college. You will have to find a hostel separately. The canteen food is decent but kind of overpriced. It's a student canteen; it needs to be reasonable.
Faculty: Some of the lecturers are very experienced and really good at teaching. They clarify the doubts conduct mock tests and also give you assignments so that it helps with your studies. The college barely makes you ready for the industry, so you will also have to make extra efforts to stay updated with the information. Pharma. D is a yearly course, so the exams are conducted once a year. Sometimes they are difficult, sometimes they are easy. You really can't predict.
Other: I had no choice, that's the reason I chose this college. But it is better compared to other colleges. The graduation programme is an event which you might enjoy; others are just below-average events.

    Absolutely satisfied with DSU.
Placements: 75% students were placed in our course. 2.5 LPA and 1.5 LPA are the packages offered in our course, Clinical pharmacologist and RA are the top roles offered. The percentage has recently increased as in the placement as well. We also have course and CPA programs that help us build extracurricular activities.
Infrastructure: The facilities are quite good in our labs and all the machinery works well in the labs. The quality of the hostel is quite good and the food is not upto the mark but comparatively it’s quite a good hostel. The facilities and sports activities are quite good.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable and they could give us more training regarding competitive exams. The curriculum is quite relevant. The exams are tough and 95% is the passing percentage. The course does make the students ready for industry or for the hospital.
Other: The course was recommended by my senior because she had benefited quite well from this course and so she recommended this course to me. The curriculum should also include a hospital setting based study and project work.

It is a very good college.
Placements: The highest salary package offered is 4.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are DoctHub, Motherhood Hospitals, and Narayana Health. Around 30% of students got internships in Narayana Health. Top roles offered are clinical pharmacist, medical writer, and pharmacy director.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities like classrooms, labs, and a library. The library has all the needed books. The mess provides good food.
Faculty: All teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. They help us during our exams. They guide us very well. They organise hospital visits every Friday. They make us industry-ready. We have yearly exams. They are difficult. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because I did not crack the NEET exam, but this course is equivalent to the MBBS course. Our college conducts sports and games every Saturday. There are around 30 students in our course.

The total number of seats offered in the MBBS course at KUHS is 325, and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences offers 3,300 seats in the MBBS course. The reason for this major difference can be that KUHS offers MBBS seats only through its two affiliated colleges, and RGUHS Bangalore offers the
