Yes, candidates can pursue an MBA at RIMT University without taking the CAT or MAT exams. RIMT University offers flexibility in its admission process for MBA programmes, it also offers admission on the basis of XAT,  CMAT,  and GMAT, where it considers other national-level entrance exams like CMAT and state-level exams such as the Punjab MET. Additionally, the university also considers direct admissions based on academic merit and performance in the university's own entrance test or through management quota seats. RIMT University is a private university located in Punjab, approved by UGC. The university offers 10 specialisations in MBA courses, such as Pharmaceutical management, MBA in Business Analytics, MBA in Strategic Human Resource Management, MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management, MBA in Finance, MBA in Marketing, MBA in Sales, Advertising & Marketing, MBA in International Business and MBA in Banking Finance & Insurance. Each of the specialisations is offered for two years, divided into four semesters and offered in full-time mode. Hence, RIMT University does not offer MBA courses in distance learning mode. 

The RIMT university's placement cell is said to be cooperative and has a decent placement rate. Further, the university claimed that it has recorded 100% placements during the recent placement drive. Apart from this, as per the Management NIRF reports 2024  the median package offered during RIMT University MBA placements 2023 stood at INR 4.57 LPA. However, to be very precise there is no such thing as a 100% placement guarantee, students can get placement opportunities from the university's side but, qualifying for the interview rounds, and skills & aptitude test are completely based on students, how they perform in that. Hence, the university is claiming that they offer 100% placements to their MBA students but, to get a job students must prepare themselves. 

The available seats of MBA at RIMT University are 30 for candidates. There are 14 different MBA courses in Regional Institute of Management and Technology .The total amount of the fees of MBA at RIMT University is around INR 2.2 lakh to 8.3 lakh. If candidates want to take a seat in RIMT University then they must have undergraduate degree with at least 50% aggregate marks in their graduation and also the candidate must have completed Class 12 with 50% aggregate marks as well. Students can only take seat in MBA at RIMT when they clear any of these exams MAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, GMAT.

Yes, RIMT University does offer MBA courses. There are in total of 30 seats available for this course. Firstly, candidates should fulfil the below-mentioned criteria to get admitted to this college. Prospective candidates should have got at least 50% aggregate marks in Class 12 and must have completed an undergraduate degree with at least 50% marks. The RIMT University also accepts various entrance exams for admission: XAT, CAT, CMAT, GMAT and MAT. Candidates have to clear these examinations to be admission to the MBA course at RIMT University.

Unfortunately, after searching various different data sources the information on the required CAT scores for admission into MBA courses at RIMT University is not available. It could mean that this university gives admissions to perhaps whosoever is eligible and is applying. This is something along with what the National Medical Commission did recently by lowering the percentile to "zero" as the minimum in NEET PG for giving admissions to PG courses for leftover seats. Of course, this did not yield any fruitful results. In the same vein, it seems that this institute gives admissions to MBA.
