Candidates should follow the tips on how to go about the right preparation for the SHIATS Entrance Exam: Create Time Table: Start off by creating a time table. A schedule and a plan is rock solid. Create a daily, weekly and monthly plan as to how much syllabus you can cover in a day, including solving sample papers and question papers. Sticking to a timetable is effective and allows you to stick to your plan of completing the syllabus in time. Be it 8 to 10 hours or 12 hours a day, plan out how much study material you can cover. A timetable will help you cover the syllabus well in time before the entrance exam. Solve Sample Papers and Question Papers: If you manage to get hold of the previous years' question papers of the course in the SHIATS Entrance Exam, you can understand the question format, the sections, the weightage of marks, the way the questions are formed, and which topics are given more importance. Solve sample papers as well. The best way to challenge yourself is by answering the question paper according to the duration of the entrance exam. In this way, you are well prepared on how to manage time at the entrance exam. For example, English grammar requires simple thinking, but Mathematics requires calculation and time to think as well. Get Prep Books and Guides: It is advisable to get few prep books to know more about the course. It will help you understand the topics and subjects better and how you can explain your answers. Revision: Once you finish your studies for the day, revise as much as you can. Jot down notes, pointers as it will help you remember the study material better. To complete application form for SHIATS 2026 students must provide their personal and educational information to register. After candidates have received SHIATS 2026 registration credentials to provided email and/or phone number (SMS), they will have to log in to fill SHIATS 2026 application form where they will have to provide personal background information, educational background information, select an exam city location, select a course of choice & upload documents on application form. 

Candidates who have a minimum of 45 percent marks in the qualifying examination (for the general category) and 40 percent of marks (for SC/ST/differently abled) in the 10 + 2 examination are allowed to get admission in SHIATS. In addition to this, the candidates should at least pass the Class 12th examination with a minimum of 45%. will be eligible for admission in SHIATS and are allowed to apply for provisional admission. However, they will require documentary proof of qualification in the qualifying examination, which they would submit during counselling.

These admissions shall be against 15% over and above the seats available in various academic programmes.515% seats in undergraduate programmes and 25% seats in postgraduate programmes in agricultural and allied subjects will be allotted through All India Entrance Test conducted by ICAR, New Delhi.
