SRM University BSc Eligibility & Highlights 2025

SRM University BSc is an undergraduate programme offered with multiple specialisations. Under this full-time programme, the students get to choose from five specialisations, namely Biological Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Mathematics. Other than these, the university also offers two specialisations via Easwari School of Liberal Arts, namely Psychology and Economics. All these courses run for a duration of three years. Students also get the option to pursue this course for an additional year and gain a BSc Hons degree in their preferred specialisation.

Getting admission to the SRM University BSc courses is only possible when students fulfil the eligibility criteria. The eligibility requirements set by the university are as follows:

Eligibility:

Students should have attained the age of 16 years and 6 months on the 31 July of the calendar year
A minimum aggregate score of 60% or equivalent in Class 10

Placements: In the B.Sc. program, students have the opportunity to secure placements, albeit with a moderate package, in comparison to the internships provided by the teaching sector. Renowned companies such as TCS and J.P. Morgan are among the top recruiters. Our college actively encourages students to participate in teaching clubs, which help them develop valuable skills. The roles offered by these companies vary, ranging from software development to machine analysis and data analysis, depending on the students' courses.

Infrastructure: I decided to reside in the hostel during my B.Sc. program due to its well-maintained rooms and a good library, although the number of books available is limited. Additionally, our college provides an extensive collection of books in the e-library. The classrooms are thoughtfully designed and organized, and we also have a clinic with a competent doctor. Moreover, our college has a pharmacy and a fully stocked supermarket. Lastly, an exceptional sports event takes place annually.

Faculty: Teachers play a crucial role in facilitating the development of students' skills. Through research and hackathons organized by our college, students can enhance their abilities and become well-prepared for future work opportunities. However, the semisterx paper proved to be challenging.

Placements: As we are the second batch of our course, we are yet to attend placements. However, placements are surely provided here. Since the first placements are going on, I can't describe it. As per the information, the highest salary offered is nearly Rs. 30,000-35,000 per month. Top recruiting companies of our college are Amazon, Infosys, TCS and CTS. The top role offered to the students is AIML. Internships are still going on in our college.

Infrastructure: Our course has all the facilities in the university like Wi-Fi, labs, a world-class library, etc. All the facilities are available in the hostel. I would rate 8 out of 10 for food. Sports are also available here, and sports fest will also be conducted here. Hostel life was good.

Faculty: Teachers here were very helpful, well-educated, and they help us to clear all our doubts regarding subjects. I would rate 9 out of 10 for teaching quality. Our course curriculum was very interesting. We learn everything that we need to learn for our future. We can see the curriculum on the main website of the university.

Other: I have chosen this course because I like this curriculum and the learning structure of the course. We learn everything like CSE students or more than them. The college should provide time for doing those courses. Nearly 4-5 events will be conducted per year in our college. Scholarships are also available at our university. There are many clubs to enjoy.

Placements: Almost 60% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 57 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 7.9 LPA. Many companies visit our college to recruit students. Almost 90% of students got internships. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Cognizant, etc. The top role offered is HR.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides good facilities. Our college has Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, etc. Classrooms are equipped with air-conditioners. The food served in the hostel and canteen is average. They provide medical and sports facilities. We play football, tennis, volleyball, etc.

Faculty: Our teachers are good and helpful. The teaching quality is good and understandable. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Exams are a bit difficult.

Really good infrastructure and facilities and more than that, the campus is beyond limits.

Placements: Since, the establishment of SRM university new in Andhra Pradesh, there are huge chances to get placed because their is more chances of putting your efforts and ideas. Yes, SAP placements are good, so overall it's good and better, I hope students utilize this opportunity and make benefits of this opportunity.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is great, even though campus is not yet done completely, bus yes their is lot of luxury and comfort, food is good. Labs and classrooms are well developed and designed according to students and faculty comfort, hostels are luxurious, canteen should develop more but food is good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable, they teaching through digital and using whiteboard, students to faculty ratio is of 20:1, there is lot of exposure other than education. Every student has their own study curriculum according to the study preference, students can get help from their faculty, mentors in any of their problem, theirs always this friendly atmosphere around the campus, there is no reason for student to be afraid to join college and their are lot of foreigners in our campus to have a better exposure of different culture in our college.
