Life at ILS - Dream of any law aspirant.

Placements: We are the first batch of the BBA LL.B. programme, which started in the year 2023. So, as of now, I do have only the placement records of the B.A. LL.B. ILS has its own reputation, hence many reputed companies come here for recruitment. 30-40% of students get placed, and the average package is around 8 LPA (approximately).

Infrastructure: Our campus is filled with greenery and is very beautiful. We have a three-floored library and a Wi-Fi-enabled campus. We are also given access to many legal databases and resources exclusively, which helps us provide insights into our study and field. The classes are large. The only drawback is that there's no whiteboard; we use the traditional blackboard and chalk.

Faculty: ILS follows the curriculum of SPPU University. We have 2 years dedicated to the BBA programme and three years for the LL.B. programme, which I feel is a very thoughtful approach as we get to study both programmes one at a time in detail. It also provides good early exposure in the field of law by organizing various moot courts, client counselling, and other relevant competitions. Semester exams are quite easy to moderately difficult. Around 80% of the class easily passes.

Other: The crowd is excellent. Each one who gets admission here is exceptional. We have a strong alumni base, and many former Chief Justices are our alumni. It is a surreal privilege to be a part of this college.

My review about DES' SNFLC.

Placements: We have an Internship & Placements Cell in college but it's in a dormant form. There are no active placements or internships issue by college as of now. But the timings of the college are most suitable for doing full day internships outside of the college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the law college is good. We have smart boards in all the classrooms and library is well-equipped. Wi-Fi facility is not available for everyone. The fergusson college hostels that are allottted are very ancient and I have not heard good reviews about them. All the canteens have amazing food and they are probably the best part of college campus.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified and experienced for pre-law, however the BBA faculty is always changing. But the law teachers are far more better and learned. The curriculum is relevant but the exams are difficult. SPPU does not make your college life any easier.

Other: There are full fee exception available for certain group of people. The college is located in the great fc campus so it has a good connectivity and is near to the district court. The annual sports and cultural fest is really fun as well.

Ideal place for learning the best.

Placements: The placement cell is good. The package you get will be based on your performance and skills. The college does not have a separate internship cell. You have to enroll in Placement Cell in the fourth and fifth years. The placement cell offers good opportunities for hardworking students. The placement cell is not so good; it is just average. Anyway, students have to find their own internship programs.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. The college offers rest rooms and washrooms on each floor. The restrooms are also very clean. It has separate rooms for various departments. Ideally, the infrastructure is quite good. The college has a separate study room and library. Students can sit in the library until 7 p.m. to study. The college also has a legal aid cell, which helps us a lot. Water purifiers are on each floor. Classrooms are clean and tidy and have a projector.

Faculty: The faculty at the college is good. They are always ready to help any student who reaches out to them. They are available to students 24 hours a day, seven days a week to answer questions. They guide us on the right path. They are very supportive and well-educated. They will always have time for their students.

Other: The campus of the college is very beautiful. It is surrounded by many trees and greenery. The campus is always enthusiastic.

Overall, one of the best law colleges in Pune is worth the price and the extraordinary service.

Placements: Our college has a very active placement cell that offers internship opportunities from the first year itself, making students industry-ready. Hiring is done with different NGOs and law firms across Maharashtra. Students with high CGPA and professional skills are given the right opportunities according to their talent for various posts ranging from litigation to the judiciary and the corporate world.

Infrastructure: The college consists of airy and well-maintained classrooms, with digital boards and Wi-Fi facilities, creating a clean atmosphere. The library has a vast collection of books and e-books with access to paid research websites like Manupatra. The college canteen serves good quality food at affordable prices, with plenty of places to sit and eat, making the college campus a good experience.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and, more than that, very kind and supportive, focusing more on the practical implementation of knowledge and the overall development of students. The college has a separate examination department, making the system very smooth and convenient. The curriculum is in line with Pune University and is cohesive and engaging. The exams are of moderate level, and for internals, more emphasis is placed on practical presentations and research.

Other: We have a very active cultural cell. There is a drama club with opportunities in sports, too, for co-curricular growth. There are friendly relations with the staff and teachers.

The course is offered for two-years. Moreover, the curriculum is divided in four-semesters. The syllabus includes many core and additional subjects. Also, there may be a Project/Dissertation/Internship in the last year or semester. Some first semester subjects of Managerial Economics, etc.
