VIT Bhopal was founded in 2017 and is housed on a massive 350-acre campus on the Indore Highway in Bhopal. The campus features an innovative integrated learning platform called "Lecture and Laboratory," which is a classroom without a blackboard. The institution supports students' learning through a Fully Flexible Credit System (FFCS) and Collaborative and Active Learning Through Technology (CalTech). The cost of VIT Bhopal's flagship curriculum, the BTech, is around INR 7.9 Lacs for specialisations in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Bioengineering, and approximately INR 6.9 Lacs for specialisations in Bioengineering. To join the VIT Bhopal University MSc + BSc integrated course, candidates must qualify the Class 12 exam. Students must atleast score 60% aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Biology as subjects. There is a 5% reduction for students belonging from SC/ST categories. There are no entrance exams for the Integrated MSc (Biotechnology) course. Candidates will be called for admission once they are shortlisted on the merit list.
