Malik Sandal Institute of Art and Architecture has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

B.Arch	Candidate who have passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised Institute/ University can also apply. Final year students can also apply on provisional basis. Candidates must have valid GATE score.

At the undergraduate level, MSRIT offers four-year BTech and five-year  MTech, to students. BTech is provided in 12 pecialisations such as Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and others. At the postgraduate level, the college offers MBA, MCA,  MTech, and other courses to students. The accepted entrance exams are COMEDK UGET, KCET, and others. RV College of Architecture admission are entrance-based. Hence, candidates cannot get direct admission in the college. They must appear for the entrance exams accepted by the institute for admission in their preferred course. However, the institute also accepts admissions through management quota.
