AMU MBBS/BDS Exam 2012 is round the corner!
Aligarh Muslim University will conduct MBBS/BDS Entrance Exams on May 27, 2012 in seven cities across India - Aligarh, Bhopal, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow and Srinagar. Modelled after the prestigious Cambridge University of the UK, AMU has 145 MBBS seats and 35 BDS seats on offer.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates for AMU MBBS/BDS Exams 2012 should have scored at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually as well as in aggregate at Class XII level.
Minimum age requirement for AMU MBBS or BDS Exams 2012 is 17 years as on December 31, 2012.
Exam Format:
AMU MBBS/BDS Entrance Exam 2012 will have one objective-type question paper that will carry a total of 200 marks. There will be 200 questions to solve in 180 minutes or three hours. The questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
The test is scheduled to begin at 10 am.
Since the test is common for MBBS and BDS applicants, those who want to apply for both the courses can indicate so on the same application form, without any additional fees.

The medical college at AMU is known as Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and the dental college at AMU is known as Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College.
