The AMU BSc in Biochemistry curriculum is designed in a way to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the chemical processes within living organisms. The mode of Aligarh Muslim University course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are the AMU Entrance Exam, CUET, and others. Candidates willing to get admission must first visit the Aligarh Muslim University official website, which is www.amu.ac.in/. Aligarh University is the middle of Doab, the land between the Ganga and Yamuna rivers, which is at a distance of 130 km Southeast of Delhi on the Delhi-Howrah rail route and the Grand Trunk Road campus. Students can reach the Aligarh Muslim University by reaching Aligarh Railway Station, and travelling through public transport or even a taxi service to reach the campus. Also, the distance between the university and the Aligarh bus stand is 3.1 km, and the distance from Aligarh Railway Station to the campus is 2 Km.

Aligarh Muslim University offers a three-year full-time BSc course at the undergraduate level. Apart from the BSc course, the University also offers BSc (Hons) courses. AMU has a pre-defined set of eligiblity criteria for admission to the various BSc specialisations that it provides. The eligibility crietra vary across the specialisations. In general, a candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% in Class 12 with relevant Science subjects to be eligible for BSc admission at AMU. The relevant subjects may vary depending upon the choice of specialisation. Further, candidates must not be more than 24 years old as of July 01 in the year of admission.
