CBSE collaborates with Microsoft training partner to train school teachers on 'hybrid learning'
The CBSE has invited two teachers from affiliated school and the duration of the training is five days. The schools need to fill the enrolment form until November 5 for applying to the training programme.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has collaborated with Microsoft's global training partner, Microsoft Education and Tech Avant-Garde, to train school teachers affiliated to the board on hybrid learning. With schools remaining closed due to the outbreak of the pandemic, both students and teachers have been struggling with the teaching system.
Meanwhile, many state governments are reopening the schools now. While many schools are ready to begin the offline classes, many parents are hesitant in sending their children to schools for physical classes and prefer online studies until the situation gets better, CBSE said in a statement.
“In this context, Central Board of Secondary Education, Microsoft Education and Tech Avant-Garde, Global Training Partner of Microsoft, have taken an initiative to educate schools on how to manage these uncertain times by training teachers on “Hybrid Learning”,” the CBSE statement read.
The CBSE has invited two teachers from affiliated school and the duration of the training is five days. The schools need to fill the enrolment form until November 5 for applying to the training programme. The training programme named ‘Hybrid Learning Programme’ will begin from November 15 for five days and each day, a webinar will be conducted for one hour thirty minutes. The training batches will be formed according to the registrations, as per CBSE statement.
Teachers who will attend the training programme should have a basic knowledge of technology and will be certified as “hybrid learning” specialists who could be consulted in the future, as per the CBSE statement.
