COMEDK PGET 2014 for PG medical & dental courses

According to the recent notification released by the Karnataka Government, COMEDK-PGET (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka - Post Graduate Entrance Test) will be conducted on February 2, 2014. The complete information regarding the exam is yet to be released at the official website.

COMEDK-PGET (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka - Post Graduate Entrance Test) is a national level entrance exam conducted by Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka. The test is taken for admissions to post graduate medical and dental programs in the State of Karnataka and in Member Institutions of the Consortium (Medical and Dental Colleges).

Eligibility:

• Candidate must be a citizen of India.
• Candidate must possess internship.
• Candidate must be a graduate in MBBS or BDS and must possess a permanent membership of MCI or DCI. In case the candidate has not obtained the membership while taking admission then he/she should acquire it within two months of admission.

Test pattern:

• There will be a single test each for PG Medical and PG Dental courses
• Each test will have 180 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ)
• Each correct answer is awarded one mark
• There will be no negative marking for wrong answers
• No mark/s will be awarded for multiple marking (marking multiple responses) for any question
• Duration: 180 minutes
• Timing: 10:00 AM - 01:00 PM

Test syllabus:

The scope of the syllabi for the Post Graduate Medical / Dental entrance test is based on the MBBS / BDS syllabus as prescribed by MCI / DCI, respectively.

Test centre:

The entrance test will be held only at centres in Bangalore.
