About My Perfect College & Course Combination

Looking back at my college, I can assert without any doubt that Shri Vaishnav Institute of Management (SVIM) and the Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) program have suited me exceptionally well. I was attracted to the institute, thanks to the strong tradition of producing all-around professionals along with its modern facilities and the qualified teaching staff.

The BBA course framework with its well-balanced theory and practical focus has equipped me with adequate knowledge of Business Management and inspired me as an aspiring entrepreneur. I have also appreciated the industry connections of the institute, which have contributed to the positive experience of learning about business through guest lectures, internship opportunities, and live projects.

All things considered, I believe that both SVIM and the BBA program were perfect for me as they helped me pursue my interests, polish my abilities and accomplish my academic and professional objectives.

Q:   Is Shri Vaishnav Institute of Management a good college/Institute?

Choosing This Course

My seeking of the BBA course at SVIM began when I was in Class 11; this is when I started looking into different courses. I was attracted to Business Management because of my interest in how organizations work and my wish to be in a position of control one day. However, in Class 12, I attended some career-oriented counselling and had conversations with some professionals in the field. This made me even more determined to study BBA. I looked around for some BBA colleges and universities and checked the syllabus, faculty, the physical structure, and the employment records. Once all these factors were put into consideration, it dawned on me that I had to apply for SVIM, and as luck would have it, I was invited to join the college. As far as my education is concerned, I have always been lucky to have family, teachers and mentors who have drawn my attention to the essentials and supported me all the way, for which I am forever thankful.

Devotion to BBA

BBA is a course that I am very passionate about. It has offered me insights into Business Management principles, practices, as well as theories in a rounded manner. The projects, case studies, and field work orientation of the program enabled me to acquire necessary skills such as critical analysis and thinking, problem-solving, and even working as part of a team with ease. In addition to that, this course has also aroused an interest for entrepreneurship, and starting a business after university is also under consideration. I have intrigued myself, especially with Marketing and Finance which I have already come to appreciate the trends and practices within those industries. Working on several projects and assignments allowed me to explore theoretical issues and their relevance in practical situations, aiding in my grasp of the topic.

Cracking my College Admission

Admission to SVIM was achieved after a series of challenges including a written entrance test as well as a personal interview. I managed to prepare for the entrance test by attending coaching classes and practicing some sample papers.

In the course of the interview, I encountered a variety of questions that ranged from my educational background, career aspirations and interests. The interviewers also asked for instances demonstrating how I exhibited leadership, teamwork and resolving problems.

All in all, the admission process was quite difficult, yet it brought improvement in my abilities and self-esteem.

The Influence of College Life on My Development

So far in my life, college education at SVIM has bestowed me with a great deal of growth and development. The institute’s active campus life, variety of students and professors, have given me room to pursue my passions, sharpen my skills and make great friends. By taking part in different activities, such as business plan competitions, seminars, and charity work, I have mastered important aspects of life including communication, leadership, and time management.

All in all, my journey at SVIM has been phenomenal, helping me become an assertive, skilled and kind person.

My College Experience

My time as a student at SVIM has been both enriching and priceless. I found attending classes, taking part in discussions, and working on group tasks very enjoyable. The teachers have been helpful and supportive, offering guidance and mentoring whenever possible.

In addition to academics, I have been engaged in some other activities. For example, I took part in business quizzes, went to some seminars and did some social work. These have helped in my growth in ways that enabled me to acquire vital life skills, make great friends and even create enjoyable experiences.

Above all, SVIM has made me a better person and a more social one, improving my family and career-building aspects.
