Education in Ireland's Roadshow in India Triumphs with a Record Turnout of Over 2500 Students Across 5 Cities

Education in Ireland, the national brand that represents Irish Higher Education Institutions abroad, has completed its flagship roadshow in India for the academic year 2024. From September 30 to October 8, 18 top Irish Higher Education Institutions participated in this complete roadshow, connecting with Indian students in five key cities: Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chennai. The Education in Ireland Fairs presented students and parents with a vital opportunity to connect directly with officials from prominent Irish Higher Education Institutions, with a record-breaking attendance of over 2500 attendees. The fairs also included an instructive presentation from the Irish Visa Office, which provided students with insights into the visa application process, as well as the presence of visa officials to take questions.
Barry O'Driscoll, Regional Manager - India & South Asia at Education in Ireland, shared his thoughts on the roadshow's impact, stating, "It was great to see such an enthusiastic response at our Education in Ireland Fairs in India. The level of interest and engagement from the students and their families was fantastic. The Roadshow was a window into Ireland's status as a global hub for technology and commerce, with over 1,000 multinational companies and startups headquartered in Ireland.” O’Driscoll further added, “Currently, over 7000 Indian students are studying in Ireland and choose Ireland as their preferred destination for higher education. Showcasing the promise of world-class education, a welcoming atmosphere, and the highly globalised environment of this English-speaking island-nation, the fairs also shed light on the boundless career opportunities that await prospective students in the vibrant heart of Ireland. We look forward to welcoming students from India."
Ireland has earned a reputation for educational excellence and a thriving job market in a variety of fields such as IT, Business, Finance, Big Data, Medical Technology, Engineering, and Digital Marketing. Furthermore, its high visa clearance rates and one to two-year stay back visa have helped it become the most popular study abroad destination in recent years. The fairs were an important part of Education in Ireland's #themakingofyou campaign, which goes beyond simply providing world-class education in Ireland. It emphasises education's transformative potential in Ireland, affecting students' personal and professional life and greatly contributing to their growth and development. After the fairs, Education in Ireland looks forward to receiving an increasing number of Indian students and supporting their goals.
