IIM Amritsar Admission 2021 begins for doctoral programmes, apply by March 10

According to the official reports, the doctoral programme offered at IIM Amritsar aims at producing high-quality management teachers and researchers for careers in academia, government, and industry.

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Amritsar commenced the admission application process for the Doctoral Programmes. Candidates interested to apply for IIM Amritsar Admission 2021 must note that the application can be submitted through the Programme link at https://iimamritsar.ac.in/ (Programs > PhD). The last date to submit the application is March 10, 2021. Application fee for SC/ST/ Differently abled candidates is Rs.1000/-. For others, it is Rs.1500/- According to the official reports, the doctoral programme offered at IIM Amritsar aims at producing high-quality management teachers and researchers for careers in academia, government, and industry.

One of the premier B-school of the country offers the programme in Economics, Finance & Accounting, Information Systems, Marketing & Communications, Quantitative Methods & Operations Management, Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management, and Strategic Management. The programme includes two years of rigorous coursework followed by two years of research work.

IIM Amritsar Admission 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Applicants applying for IIM Amritsar doctoral programmes must have a Master’s degree or Post Graduate Diploma or its equivalent in any discipline with first class. Candidates must also possess BTech/4 Years Degree with 6.5 CGPA or equivalent. Any professional qualification such as CA/ ICWA/ CS/CFA- Level-II (USA) with a graduate degree in the relevant subject with a minimum 55% aggregate or equivalent grade point average.

Applicant should have qualified in CAT or one of GATE, GMAT, GRE, NET-JRF (UGC/CSIR) (in the respective specialization) as per the requirements of the relevant area of specialization. Scores of these examinations taken on July 1, 2019, or after will be considered.

The shortlisting of the candidates will be based on the basis of their academic record, performance in the competitive examinations mentioned above, and research interests will be called for a personal interview (including Research Aptitude Test and Written Analysis Test) for final selection in April/May 2021. Successful candidates will receive an admission offer by the end of May 2021.
