The flagship course offered by the ISNU is the MSc course. This is a two-year postgraduate programme, offered in full-time mode. In addition, the university offers three specialisations in MSc courses i.e., MSc in Biotechnology, MSc in Biochemistry and MSc in Microbiology.

ISNU admissions will be granted on the basis of merit, which is evaluated by the institution on the basis of candidates’ achieved scores in the computer-based Test (which is conducted by Nirma University). The test is a composition of 100 marks, and the questions will be related to Life Sciences and Chemistry.
