Fore School of Management - FSM offers an International Immersion programme to full time students after completion of third term. The primary objective behind the programme is to expose students to international business scenario. They undergo this one-week course at one of their International partner institutes.

This year the programme was organised between March 25 and March 30, 2019 at Nanyang Business School, Singapore. All the students were provided with the outline well in advance along with pre-reading material and instructions to be thoroughly equipped with softwares and technology required

Associate Professor Low Buen Sin, Associate Dean (China Programme and Executive Programme), Nanyang Business School, presided over a session on Financial Strategies for Value Creation. The topics covered include value of a company, the financing decision of a company, derivatives, value with respect to mergers and acquisitions, and risk management

Professor Vijay Sethi, Department of Information Technology and Operations Management, Nanyang Business School conducted a session on Disruptive Technologies, which is a strategic methodology that focuses on teaching the art of transformation by thinking out of the box and being different.

Mr Jonathan Briggs, Academic Director, Hyper Island organised a course on Digital marketing. This course brought students’ attention to customer needs, think with a digital mindset — tools, methods, touch points and how data is being generated and their effective value proposition for business.

Associate Professor Olexander Chernyshenko also organised a session on Managing Talent in Asia. This course made students think about “Talent”, and how to find, engage, and retain it to fulfil organization objectives and requirements. Professor Goh Kim Huat offered a course on Marketing Analytics. The course emphasised on Big Data and related tools to explore and visualise for making business predictions. The outcome of these predictions help an organization make decisions for operations, market planning & research and marketing decisions.

As part of the program, students visited various companies from pertinent sectors such as CXA Group, Asiatic Industries, Holmusk, Societe Generale Bank, Habitat, Dentsu, Merkle, Datarobot, etc. The students stayed at residential facility of Nanyang Executive Centre, part of NTU, Singapore as throughout the immersion program.

Fore school of Management organises this program annually with a sole objective to enhance students’ capability to think beyond the ordinary and be industry ready to tackle competition and challenges in corporate world.

No, FORE School of Management does not offer direct admissions and does not reserve any seats under special management quota. As such students must get admission purely on merit alone with entrance exam scores such as CAT, XAT and GMAT being required for admission to the PGDM course.
