A: To be eligible for admission to any undergraduate or diploma courses offered by NITTE, a student must be Class 12 pass out or equivalent in any stream.

For postgraduate programmes, students must be graduate in any stream from a recognised university or institute

Q: What is the admission process? On the basis what parameters, final selections are made?

A: As a part of the admission process, all eligible applicants need to first fill-up the online application form on the institute’s official website.

Post detailed profile screening and on the basis of merit performances, the final selections will be made. Admissions are also subject first come first serve basis.

Q: What is the scope of various courses offered in Fashion and Apparel Design?

A: Upon completion of any programme in Fashion and Apparel Design students will acquire complete knowledge of clothing manufacturing, and garment construction to start your own work or work in fashion companies basis of which they can take up any job opportunity in the Fashion industry such as fashion forecasting and design development, Fashion buyer, Fashion Merchandiser, Product Designer and developer, Design Consultant, Visual Merchandiser, Production Executive, Quality Control Manager, Sampling Coordinator and sourcing manager.

The only difference between the jobs offered to undergraduate and postgraduate students is the hierarchy. Undergraduate students will be able to take up basic level jobs while the postgraduate one’s with more detailed, technical and practical knowledge will be able to take up senior-level roles in the industry.

A: Interior Design and Decorations course is suitable for creative students. Those who are passionate about decorating their surrounding, rooms, office, etc. are the best fit for the course. The courses offered in this domain will help students gain conceptual knowledge related to arts, visual spaces, interiors and exteriors, achieve the design techniques so as to make wonderful living spaces for the customers and enhance their creativity, research and imagination techniques. Upon the completion of the course, students will be ready to take up jobs such as Interior Designer, Interior Coordinator, Space Designer, Freelance Designer, Space Planner, Space Consultant, Landscape Designer, Stylist, Event Designer,  Hospitality Consultant, Retail Designer, Kitchen and Bathroom Designer, and Interior Consultant.
