Turning Disappointment into Determination: My High School Comeback

Before sharing my college journey, I would like to share my journey during Classes 11 and 12. Those were my golden days. In Class 10, I did not perform well in my board exams. That was the first time my parents were disappointed because of me. I did not want that to happen again. So, I worked hard during Class 11 and 12 and scored 92%. I also secured 2nd position in my class.

From Nervous Beginnings to Unforgettable Memories: My College Experience at KSMDB

Now, it was time for college admission. I got my name on the first merit list for BA in Economics programme at Kumbalathu Sankupillai Memorial Devaswom Board (KSMDB) College, Sasthamcotta. As I stepped in the campus, a mix of excitement, nervousness, and uncertainty swirled within me. The teachers at my college were very friendly and supportuive. Every month, different programs were held at our college to rejuvenate us, and they frequently featured celebrity guests. We created great memories during the 3-year journey at the college. Some of them were a 5-day-long tour, dance competition and Onam celebration. We visited many places together and participated in various competitions being held by the college.

A Journey of Ambitions: Balancing College Life and Government Exams

I learnt a lot from my college life and ended making new friends. I was also exposed to new experiences during this phase in my life. All these memories and experiences are unforgettable, and I make it a point to visit the college whenever I can. Alongside my college studies, I also prepared for government exams. I cleared two of them, but unfortunately, I couldn’t make it past the second stage.

. I was very disappointed at that time because I really worked hard for it. With my college exams approaching, I decided to focus on them instead.

Preparing for a Bright Future: Choosing Logistics and Supply Chain Management

Now, it was time to choose a post-graduation course. I wanted to choose a course that could help me get a job quickly because I wanted to support my family financially. So, I chose a Post Graduate Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management in Kochi. I believe Logistics is a better career option to get a good job because of the increasing demand for logistics in the corporate industry day by day.

Embracing Learning: Preparing for What’s Next

As I look back at my college experience, I realise that it was a transformative journey. College life taught me that failure is an opportunity for growth. I discovered my passions there and formed lifelong relationships. I hope that these friendships and lessons remain with me forever.
