College life is an overload of both beautiful and tough experiences: Puja Kumaral

I chose Commerce stream in high school as I always aspired to be a finance manager. And, I chose ABBS School of Management over rest because it had a great faculty cohort and infrastructure for a B-School. The ambience gives students a lovely experience of what we are supposed to learn.  I chose the PGDM course because of the quality of its curriculum coupled with practical learning.

As a part of admission process, one has to undergo an entrance test followed by group discussion round, personal interview and aptitude test. We had to give all those tests to ensure we secured a seat in ABBS to pursue PGDM. I underwent coaching classes to prepare well for qualifying tests. There were no major challenges here.

Mostly we spend our time in the campus, mainly in the library. College life is an overload of experiences both beautiful and tough in nature. Apart from usual lectures, we have extracurricular activities, seminars and workshops to attend. It is said that some subjects need more practical knowledge thorough workshops.

Economics is my favorite subject. The extra-curricular activities which I enjoy participating are group discussions, debating, football, badminton, kabaddi, and cricket.

If given a chance by the institute, I would start a radio in the campus and also a newsletter especially on social awareness focused on women safety and women empowerment.

My college experience has impacted me in such a way that one should try to be among good company and try to maintain leadership qualities throughout the life. It has given me the courage to do anything and live a meaningful life. I have also learned to be independent and my programm has made me learn how to succeed in life. My experience in ABBS School of Management has given me a chance to sharpen my skillsets in the field of management. There have been and there will continue to be more opportunities to improve my domain in the short span that I have here at ABBS.

In the future, I would like to be recognised as an expert in marketing. I’m sure the career I choose will provide me with golden opportunities to do the same. I want to setup realistic goals for myself and also my organisation where I work at.

I plan to achieve my goals and be the most successful person in my area of expertise
