“The more mistakes I make, more I learn” is my ideology to grow in my area of interest, says Kunal Gupta
I always wanted to be an entrepreneur. So, I chose commerce stream in high school and business administration in graduation (BBA). While I was in last year of my graduation, I realised the need to pursue a post graduate degree in the same domain in order to polish my skills more and go deeper into the concepts. Also, by pursuing MBA I could get a chance to put my theoretical knowledge into practice. So, I decided to pursue Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) to take a step further towards a career in the field of management.
To qualify for admission, I appeared for Management Aptitude Test (MAT). I was shortlisted in different management institutes but I chose to go ahead with ABBS School of Management. For MAT preparations, I did not join any coaching classes, rather I started preparing on my own with the help of the Internet and other reference books. And, alongside I started working on my self-confidence to present confidently in Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) round. The challenges that I faced while opting for this college is the adaptability to a completely different environment, work culture and people, but this has helped me mold myself.
The institute’s timings are 9 am to 4:30 pm. This time is dedicated to lectures and extracurricular activities which include different social clubs. This helps in enhancing communication skills and also analytical ability. One can interact effectively and solve business cases while having lot of fun. The subject that I like the most is Human Resource. A course that itself teaches the art of dealing with humans. Also, I am a part of marketing club and sports club. I like to channlise my thoughts by putting them into practice. “The more mistakes I make, more I learn” is my ideology to improve in my areas of interest.
My college experience has always been versatile and classy, whether in undergraduate programme or the postgraduate programme. It has always motivated me to enhance my skills and abilities, to build myself confident and stronger than ever before. ABBS helps me boost my morale and develop me into a better and successful person towards my dreams and goals.
I want to be a successful entrepreneur and hence, I am working on it everyday.
