This institute provided me an exceptional industry interface: Kaushik J Talukdar
Working as a Test Analyst at Accenture after completing my B.Tech in Biotechnology from VIT University, I developed an interest in management. Whenever I was given any management responsibility, I would happily take it. However, my skills at that time would not have helped pursue this interest of mine. Hence, I chose to pursue post-graduation diploma in management (PGDM) from ISBR Business School as it would help me to build my leadership skills and also help me to gather knowledge about the entire business process and how the business works.
I chose ISBR because of its unique pedagogy, the faculties, the return on investment and the location. Before making a guided decision, I also went through a lot of college reviews on Google as well as Shiksha. I also connected with a few alumni students and received positive reviews about the college. These were the reasons I picked ISBR Business School.
I cracked the Interview at ISBR in February after appearing for MAT, CMAT, SNAP and CAT before taking admission. I got admission through the marks scored in MAT exam. I prepared for the entrance while I was working with Accenture and did not take any additional coaching. I learnt most of the concepts through YouTube videos and this was my first attempts in all the MBA entrance exams.
I also was selected in SOIL’S one-year PGPM programme along with Symbiosis Hyderabad. However,
I made my decision to take admission in ISBR Business School because of the exceptional industry interface they provide and I felt it is worth the investment I make.
I spend my time attending classes, attending industrial interface, club activities and social learning activities. I also like to attend organisational behaviour and statistics class.
I am a part of the HR club and I am also doing social activity by teaching underprivileged kids through an NGO Surabhi Foundation.
I like to participate in competitions and challenges outside our college, too. I am now more stable, calm, good at handling stressful situations, confident at stage, have good networking with a lot of influential people and a great passionate leader.
