New Delhi Institute of Management has been named as the winner of the AICTE-CII Survey 2018. The Survey is conducted every year and is mandatory for all AICTE-approved institutes to be a part of it. In 2018, over 9,576 institutes participated and were asked to share previous three years’ basic data to be evaluated across different parameters. Basis the results, the management decides on continuation of course.

NDIM: Winner of AICTE-CII survey 2018

November 11, 2019: New Delhi Institute of Management (NDIM) has been named as the winner of the AICTE-CII Survey 2018. The Survey is conducted every year and is mandatory for all AICTE-approved institutes to be a part of it. In 2018, over 9,576 institutes participated and were asked to share previous three years’ basic data to be evaluated across different parameters. Basis the results, the management decides on continuation of course.

This year a total of 21 institutes were shortlisted for face to face interaction basis placements, internships, corporate connect, quality of faculty, course curriculum, research, innovations, corporate training and credentials of Board of Directors. Out of the institutes shortlisted, NDIM was awarded in the management category. This e institute has registered its name in the books of award winners for second consecutive year under the management category.

Future of manufacturing and production-AI and IOT

July 26, 2019: New Delhi Institute of Management (NDIM) organised a two day long session on Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning for students. As we head towards digitalization, at a very brisk pace, the need for incorporating the same efficiently in every domain of management becomes necessary.

The discussion was held around incorporating AI and Machine Learning efficiently and the use of ‘Augmented’ and ‘Virtual Reality’ and their limitations. Participants were introduced to various AI Industry cases, followed by a session on how to bring about a shift in perspective by focusing on AI's benefits and limitations.

The second session concentrated on the successful use of AI, VR and AR in the distribution and manufacturing chain. A case study review was also conducted before the end of the MDP's day 1 session. The second day comprised workshops on the Internet of Things. Detailed discussion on various techniques and approaches was organised followed by case studies and discussion on manufacturing and maintenance, including AI applications using Rapid Miner.

NDIM offers admission to MBA and PGDM courses and specialistions. The institute does not offers admission to the UG courses. The institute offers admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Management, PGDM in Marketing Management and PGDM in Finance Management, apart from a few other courses.
