Oriental University Admission Process
Admission process of Oriental University includes merit-based as well as entrance exam score-based selection of candidates. Admission to BTech, MTech and MPharm courses is based on entrance exam score while admission to rest of the courses is based on merit.
NTA has announced the JEE Main 2026 exam date for session 2. JEE Main 2026 session 2 exam will be held from April 2 to 9, 2026. JEE Main 2026 session 2 registration will start in January last week. The JEE Main Application Form 2026 session 2 will be available on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE 2026 session 1 exam will be conducted from January 21 to 30.
NTA has released the JEE Main 2026 dates on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The session 1 exam will be conducted from January 21 to 30. The JEE Main 2026 exam date session 2 is April 2 to 9. The JEE Main 2026 application form has been released on October 31, 2025 and the last date to apply is November 27. Candidates are advised to keep checking this page regularly for all updates related to JEE Main 2026 exam dates and schedule of other events related to the exam.

Application forms for admission are accepted online as well as offline. For admission through online mode, aspirants have to fill an online application form on the official website, upload relevant documents and pay the application fee via Internet banking. Those interested in applying offline, are required to visit the campus and fill the form.
Oriental Institute of Science and Technology Bhopal
Oriental Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) Bhopal was established in 1995. The institute offers BTech programmes in Automobile Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc. Besides, the institute also offers MTech and MCA course.
OIST Bhopal Courses and Admission Process
BTech courses offered by the institute are AICTE approved. Admission is based on Class 12 and JEE Main scores. BTech Counselling is done through DTE, Madhya Pradesh. Candidates can fill the application forms for admission on the official website of the institute as well as offline by visiting the campus.
Oriental University starts accepting early bird registrations for various programmes typically in February. In 2024, the early bird registration for BPharma at the university commenced on Feb 12, 2024 and continued till April 30, 2024. This was the first round of admission. It was followed by various other rounds based on the availability of seats. The fourth round of admission is currrently ongoing. The registrations for this round started on July 16,2024. The last date to register for the fourth round of admission is August 14, 2024.
Oriental University BPharma admission is merit-based. The admission is granted based on the marks of Class 12. There is no entrance exam required for the admission. Candidates just need to register and submit an online application of the official website of the university. The seats are allotted in multiple rounds of admission. Candidates must ensure their eligibility before applying.
The institute offers courses in full-time mode over 11 courses. The institute offers more than 11 courses across various specialisations and aspirants need to apply for courses through the official website. Students can check the eligibility from the table presented below:

Oriental Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) Jabalpur was established in 2016 by the Oriental Group of Institutions. It is affiliated to Rajeev Gandhi Prodhyogiki Vishwavidhyalaya and approved by the AICTE.
OIST Jabalpur Courses and Admission Process
Currently, OIST Jabalpur offers BTech programme. The BTech programme is offered with specialisation in a number of branches including, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
The institute also offers MBA (Full Time) is a two-years program, approved by AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to RDVV, Jabalpur with an annual intake of 120 seats.
Admission to OIST Jabalpur’s BTech course is based on candidate’s score in Class 12 and JEE Main. For admission, the candidates have to participate in BTech Counselling conducted by DTE, Madhya Pradesh. The OIST application forms are available in both online and offline modes.

Oriental Institute of Pharmacy and Research
Oriental Institute of Pharmacy and Research (OIPR), established in 2023 is devoted to the cause of providing and promoting professional education in the field of advanced Pharmaceutical Sciences. The institute offers BPharm programme. Admission to BPharm is through Common Counselling process conducted by DTE, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh.
Candidates need to pass Class 12 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate in case of candidate belonging to reserved category for M.P domicile candidates) to apply for BPharm programme.
Oriental University provides Merit based admission in its B.Ed Course. The candidate must have passed UG or PG in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks for General and OBC, and 45% aggregate marks for SC and ST.
For candidates, who graduated with BTech/B.E or any other equivalent degree with Science and Maths, the minimum passing aggregate should be 55% for General and OBC and 50% for SC and ST.
The candidate need to register themselves on the online admission portal, for them to be considered for admission.
