Workshops and training programs are also conducted by the placement cell from time to time. Career counselling is also done by the alumni association (AROX). To meet the employability requisite, the students can also opt for an additional course under the CBCS system.
St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi also has a very active and resourceful Entrepreneurship cell and a very strong alumni network that help students a lot with placement opportunities and processes. All the students of every vocational course undergo compulsory on-the-job training for a period of four weeks in different industries/ institutions/ research labs/ organisations. Internships are offered to final-year students only in which they can work on research papers with faculty members.
