S.S. Jain Subodh Law College: Institute that transformed me into a professional in the Legal Field
Starting legal education at my college in 2021 was not only the start of a new year but a new quest in my life. S.S. Jain Subodh Law College promised to provide strong curriculum support. From the time I joined this institute till the present day, I have come to appreciate how the institute has endeavoured to build me into a competent legal mind ready for a bright future in the legal profession.

A College with Great Industry Ties
Right from the beginning, S.S. Jain Subodh Law College set itself apart with its vibrant corporate connections. These partnerships ensured easy entry to internships and professional legal experience; thus, the link between theory and practice was easily achieved. It was greatly encouraging to note that the college went ahead and forged connections and thereby provided us, the students, an opportunity to interact with some of the most prominent legal personalities and institutions.
Educationally, S.S. Jain Subodh Law College has a paradigm of systemic education and training in terms of academic pedagogy.
Internships and Other Opportunities
I have to admit, one of the things I admire about this place is the number of internship opportunities that exist. This happened when I got my internship at the District and Sessions Court, where I involved myself in the field of family laws and the High Court. My experiences performing as a consultant for Legal Zone and operating as an intern at PN Legal Firm provided a diverse experience for me, which allowed me to gain exposure to high-stake litigation at the Raj. High Court, Debt Recovery Tribunal, and National Company Law Tribunal levels. This year, the internship with the National Human Rights Commission has enriched me with substantive knowledge of human rights laws and practices.
Experience at the College
Apart from academic achievements and internships, competition platforms at this college have been crucial for my growth. I have frequently participated in moot court competitions, debates and negotiations where I sharpened my arguing, especially public-speaking skills. However, the following achievements will always remain proof of the high-standard and supportive atmosphere provided at the college. Also, being the three-time winner of the Intra College MCC and standing high in the Lex Bonanza International MCC and the National Negotiation Competition has instilled more confidence in me as a legal mind.
I did not limit myself to the competitions only. As a certified Manupatra Legal researcher, I have honed my research skills, an aspect that is mandatory for any lawyer. Another added advantage is that he or she should have been the rapporteur in the Technical Session of the International Conference during the Criminal Justice Renaissance Summit in 2023. Such activities that include volunteer work, internships, and other relevant activities supported by the college have offered me value-added legal education, thus arming me with both the book knowledge and experience.
My life at the college is also well supported by the college, with extracurricular activities forming part of a rounded education process. Model United Nations, basic attainment of ‘Best Delegate’ and victory in the ‘Just a Minute competitions’ helped in the enhancement of interpersonal and leadership skills. These not only fit my academic life but also my professional life, preparing me to thrive in different professional settings. My journey at college has been really fruitful for me.
