Q:   What is the difference between the syllabus of Andhra Pradesh LAWCET and the syllabus of CLAT?
A:

Both the AP LAWCET and CLAT entrance exam are conducted for admission to the Law schools in India, however, the syllabus for these exams are different on many parameters and candidates should strategise differently for both the exams. A very good college and one of the best private colleges one can find in Jaipur.
Placements: There are some students who apply for placements. The ratio of students who applied is very low, but those who applied did get placed somewhere. I do not know much about the placement cell, as most law students confine themselves to litigation and public sector examinations. However, there is a chunk who pursue corporate law, but placements are very low in rate in our college. Hardly any person gets placed.
Infrastructure: We have proper infrastructure with libraries, classrooms equipped with smart boards, whiteboards and speakers, and proper air conditioning. We also have a moot court hall, seminar hall, auditorium, canteen, girls' common room, sports room, a quadrangle, and all fully furnished with all facilities. The building is not very big but an average building with 3 floors, ground floor and basement with proper working lifts.
Faculty: The teachers are very qualified, they are NET-selected and appointed on the basis of UGC guidelines. They are very helpful and understanding in nature and assist at every stage of our academics and co-curriculars. The course is set by Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University, with which our college is affiliated. The course is average, but now it has been revised and benefits our juniors. The college conducts mid-semester exams, which test our basic knowledge, while end semester exams are conducted by the university.

Best academic college for law.
Placements: This college is best for placement purposes. Many students got placed in good firms. Many of them started their own firms, while some got selected as associates under various lawyers. If a student is looking for placement opportunities after graduation, this college is a perfect choice.
Infrastructure: This college has good infrastructure. From classrooms to washrooms and hostels, everything is well-maintained and clean. Every classroom has 2 ACs, proper ventilation, camera security, and all necessary facilities. Good washrooms, water coolers, free Wi-Fi, a library, and a canteen are available.
Faculty: Faculty members of this college have good teaching experience. Daily lectures and sessions are conducted by faculty members. Courses are completed on time, and weekly tests and debates are conducted. Exams are conducted every 5 months, at the end of each semester.

Good academics, supportive faculty, decent placements, and well-maintained infrastructure.
Placements: B.A. LL.B. Batch, around 50% of students were placed. Recruiters included top law firms, EY, and banks. Around 90% of students secured internships. Students got roles such as Legal Associate, Legal Analyst, Legal Researcher, and many more. Earlier, there were no placements, but now the placement process has started.
Infrastructure: The department has smart classrooms, a well-stocked library, Wi-Fi, computer labs, and moot court halls. Hostels are clean with decent food, ensuring a comfortable campus experience. The campus environment is very good. It provides a learning friendly atmosphere.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable, with good teaching quality. The curriculum is relevant. It combines theory with practical learning, making students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The overall pass percentage is around 85-90%.
Other: I chose this course for its diverse career opportunities and practical legal knowledge. The campus hosts cultural fests, sports activities, clubs, and provides scholarships. It also has good connectivity and offers a vibrant student life.

Academically, it is very good.
Placements: As I am pursuing law, a lot of students from our college took the RJS exam, and last year, 14 students cleared that exam. It is really inspiring for other students of our college. If I talk about internships, it depends on the students whether they want to do them in a firm, court, or NGO. There are no such restrictions for internships.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. We have smart boards and ACs in classrooms, but there is no scope for sports. There is also no girls' hostel. It is only for boys. The library is really good and has all the helpful books, magazines, articles, etc. However, we do not have a permanent canteen. It keeps changing.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, and they teach us really well. They make every class interesting through their way of teaching, especially the law subject faculty members. Semester exams are conducted very late because our college is affiliated with BR Ambedkar Law University, so it does not have the authority to make decisions regarding this. However, mid-semester exams are conducted on time as they are in the hands of the college.
Other: I chose this course because it seems very interesting to me. I also want to take the RJS exam in the future, so that is why I chose law. Regarding events and fests, there is nothing like this. Our college conducts competitions like MUN, moot court, trial advocacy, debates, etc., but there are no non-academic activities. It is either farewell or freshers.

Very good premise of S.S. Jain Subodh Law College.
Placements: My journey at S.S. Jain Subodh Law College has been a very memorable and valuable part of my life. When I joined the college. I was unsure about many things related to my career, but over the years, I gained the confidence, knowledge and practical exposure that every student needs. They never limit their guidance to academics and work. They are always ready to help with career advice, internships, and personal development whenever we needed. The placement also played an important role in preparing the students for professional work. Regular career guidance sessions, workshops, and guest lectures are provided.
Infrastructure: CCTV, clean classes, library, parking infrastructure assistance, Subodh provides a comfortable and positive environment for learning on campus as well as maintains the basic facilities that the students need for academic and personal development. The classrooms are clean and equipped with modern teaching facilities, which make the lectures more interactive and easy to understand. The peaceful atmosphere of the college helps a student to stay focused on their studies. One of the parts of the college is its library. It has a very good collection of law books, and references.
Faculty: The faculty at S.S. Jain Subodh Law College has been one of the top 10 in the academic jury. The professors are experienced and knowledgeable and always willing to help the students whenever they need guidance. They explain legal concepts simply and practically which makes even complex subjects easy to understand. They also encourage students to participate in the moot court in the seminars, research activities and discussions that improve both academic knowledge and practical skills. The curriculum is well designed and covers the areas.
Other: It has events, activities and social nights on campus itself.

It's a good college if you want to study.
Placements: I don't think there are many placement opportunities in our college. It is very rare to see students getting placed, but internships are available. However, that also depends on students. If they want to do internships, they can do them from anywhere. I don't think the college provides much help in this.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are air-conditioned, and smart boards are available. Comfortable seats for students create a good environment for studying. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. The library is also good according to the requirements of a normal library. There is a gym in the hostel, and the mess food is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in nature. There is no toxic environment in the college. If students are good, teachers also deal with them in a friendly way. However, the semester exams are delayed every time, and because of this, the course duration gets extended slightly.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a lawyer. I will be the third-generation lawyer in my family. I have grown up seeing this kind of environment. So from the very beginning, I have been interested in the field of law.
