Great college for art lovers and designers.

Placements: I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Sir J.J.Institute of Applied Art. Around 70 to 80 percent of students have received placements through college and internship referrals. The highest package offered to a student is approximately 7.2 LPA, the average package is 4.8 LPA, and the lowest is 3.6 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies are VML and FCB India. Top roles offered to graduates are graphic designer, illustrator, advertising visualiser, and many more.

Infrastructure: The hostels are clean and hygienic with a strict but homely environment ideal for artists. The meals are warm and welcoming and extremely nutritious as per the students' needs. There's a full-time Wi-Fi for students and the labs are in good condition. There's a playground for students to keep up with their health.

Faculty: The exams conducted are challenging but the teachers are attentive and grade everyone fairly. The qualified teachers play a major role in the education process. The passing percentage is 45 percent, and many students fail despite all the teaching and the exams still being easier. The faculty members are supportive and kind.

Other: The events are fun and great. The students engage in the event activities and play a major role in the event. Unlike other design colleges our college does not have the jury system in our course. I wish they did because it would encourage students more.

This college is great for curricular activities and events which give on-field experience of work.

Placements: There are no such placements or internships in this college. But there are lots of industrial students who visit the college during events and annual exhibitions, and they take students to work with them in the future. Students are given all kinds of exposure to build a successful career and get placed in recognized firms and work globally.

Infrastructure: This college has wide classrooms with separate benches for the single student along with a wooden drawing board. There is a library, auditorium, BCR, typo-laboratory, and also gym facility for the students are given in this college. There is a canteen for all students and staff with a reasonable rate and good taste.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and experienced. There are many curriculum activities held in this college such as fresher's party, sport's week, annual exhibition, amaze, yellow bench, a long tour which is for about 2 weeks, etc.

Other: This college has a huge campus. The crowd present here is mostly from out of Mumbai and has great work. All the events are held on the campus. Every festival is celebrated in this college like Holi, Diwali, Christmas, Navratri, 15th August, etc.
