Yes, interested candidates can apply for distance learning courses through the Institute of Distance & Open Learning (IDOL), University of Mumbai. It offers various UG, PG, and Diploma courses in several specialisations. Students at the Institute of Distance & Open Learning (IDOL), University of Mumbai get placed at renowned organizations. Like any other Institution/University maintaining an attendance of 75% is mandatory for the students at Mumbai University. The University has its own Attendance Committee, for the smooth conduct of this ordinance in every Department. As per the Attendance Ordinance, candidates must maintain at least 75% attendance for each course & average attendance. If the students fail to maintain the number, the department/college doesn’t forward the examination form to the University exam unit. However, a minimum attendance of 50% is considered in special cases like health issues, family losses, etc.

The affiliated courses to Mumbai University accepts MHT CET exam. To get into the colleges, the Mumbai University cutoff 2024 for the CSE course stood at 27.66 for the General AI category candidates. Similarly, for the Information Technology course, the MHT CET cutoff stood between 2.47 and 95.27. Moreover, BE in Aritificial Intelligence cutoff stood at 68.94 for the General AI quota.
