AP Inter exams scheduled to commence from May 5 stand postponed in light of COVID cases.

AP Inter exams 2021: The Andhra Pradesh Government has decided to postpone the AP Inter examinations 2021 for the 1st and 2nd year amid a huge spike in COVID cases. The AP Inter exams were scheduled to be conducted from May 5 to May 23. “Respecting the court’s opinion, we have decided to postpone intermediate examinations," said the Education Minister. He also added that a fresh schedule for the inter exams would be announced after the situation goes back to normal.
Andhra Pradesh High Court had urged the state government to reconsider its decision to conduct an intermediate examination as the pandemic continued its surge.

The state board had on April 29 released the AP Inter Hall Ticket for the theory examinations raising concerns. However, the state board in repeated announcements maintained that it will be going ahead with the examinations as planned amid all COVID precautions.
Students who will be appearing for the examinations this year for Class 12 must keep visiting the official BIEAP website for updates regarding the revised AP Inter Time Table 2021.

As per reports, the state board will be reviewing the COVID situation in June like the other boards who have decided to defer their examinations for classes 10 and 12, and hence take the decision on AP Inter exams.

Meanwhile, there has been no update on AP SSC examinations so far. The AP Class 10 examinations are scheduled to begin from June 7 to June 16.
