The correction window for the CBSE LOC Form 2026-27 is from November 2 to November 7, 2026. It covers 10th Class and 12th Class students of the CBSE Board Exam 2027. CBSE has made it clear that no other chance will be given after this. The LOC circular came on September 17, 2026. The board then released the CBSE LOC 2026-27 on September 24. What is CBSE LOC

LOC stands for List of Candidates. It is the list of all students who will write the CBSE board exams in 2027. The list covers students of 10th Class and 12th Class. Schools fill the CBSE LOC form online. Students do not fill it on their own. Only students on this list can sit for the board exams. So every detail must be correct. A small mistake in the name can cause problems later.

2. Open the Examination Circulars section.
3. Find the circular on the List of Candidates for 2026-27.
4. Click on it. The PDF will open.
5. Save the file for later use.

CBSE LOC Last Date 2026 and Schedule

CBSE gave two sets of submission dates. One was for digital payment and the other was for challan payment. The correction window is the same for both.

The LOC portal closed at 11:59 PM on the last date. A challan stayed valid for four days. In the last seven days, the principal had to check the status every day. Check the exam dates in the CBSE Date Sheet 2027.

CBSE asked schools to follow five points while filling the LOC. The list is given below.

• Submit correct student data.
• Fill the right subjects for each student.
• Submit the LOC within the schedule.
• Include all eligible students.
• Pay the fee on time.

CBSE LOC Eligibility 2027

The CBSE LOC eligibility conditions are given below.

• Schools can add only their own regular students to the LOC
• No regular student of the school should be left out
• Students must not come from a school that is not affiliated with CBSE
• Students must have the required attendance
• Students must not be registered with any other school board along with CBSE
• Students must meet the rules to sit for the CBSE 10th, 12th exams 2027
• 12th Class students must have passed the 10th Class exam from a recognised school board in 2025 or earlier

CBSE LOC Fee for Class 10 and 12

The CBSE LOC fee depends on where the school is located. Check the fee details below.

Visually impaired students do not pay the exam fee. The fee is paid online only. Schools in India can use card, UPI, NEFT or net banking. Offline payment is not accepted.

CBSE LOC Submission Process for Schools

Schools follow a fixed process to submit the CBSE LOC. The main steps are listed below.

1. Log in with the school's Affiliation Number as the user ID.
2. Update school data on the OASIS portal.
3. Fill teacher data on the HPE portal. Save the confirmation number.
4. Check the student data carried over from 9th Class and 11th Class registration.
5. Upload photos of students, if not done earlier.
6. Fill the subject codes as per the Scheme of Studies.
7. Submit all students of one fee group together.
8. Pay the fee online and submit the LOC with the principal's e-signature.

New schools must fill the OASIS and HPE portals first. Only then can they submit the LOC. There is no Excel upload option.

Student Details Checked in CBSE LOC Form

Schools and students check the details listed below in the LOC form.

• Student name, as per the school admission register
• Mother, father and guardian name
• Date of birth
• Subjects and subject codes
• Category of the student
• Photograph
• APAAR ID (optional)
• Children with Special Needs (CWSN) status, if it applies

The CWSN data had an earlier last date than the main LOC. Subjects cannot be changed after the correction window. CWSN benefits also cannot be added later.

CBSE LOC Categories: FS, ER and Improvement

Every student is placed in one category in the CBSE LOC form. The result is declared as per this category.

ER students must meet the attendance rules. Students who appear on their own have a separate route. The CBSE Private Candidate Form 2027 is meant for them.

CBSE Two Board Exam Rules for Class 10 LOC

10th Class students will get two board exams in 2027. The LOC rules linked to this are given below.

• This LOC is for the first board exam in February-March.
• The first exam is compulsory for all 10th Class students.
• The LOC for the second exam will be filled after the first exam.
• Students can take only the same subjects in the second exam.
• Passed students can improve marks in up to three main subjects.
• Subjects cannot change between the two exams.
• Only Maths Standard and Maths Basic can be switched.

Important CBSE Subject Codes for LOC 2027

Some subject codes are often mixed up. CBSE has asked schools to fill them with care.

CBSE will not change subjects just before the exams. Students should match their subjects with the CBSE Class 12th Syllabus 2026-27. Wrong subject combinations will be marked as not eligible.

CBSE LOC Correction Window and Data Verification Slip

The CBSE LOC correction window for 10th Class and 12th Class is from November 2 to November 7, 2026. After LOC submission, schools generate a data verification slip for each student. This slip shows the details filled in the form. Any error can be corrected by the school within this window.

Four details can be corrected in the CBSE LOC data during this window.

• Student name
• Father, mother or guardian name
• Date of birth
• Subjects offered

CBSE LOC Correction Checklist for Parents

CBSE has asked parents to check the points given below.

• Check that the name, date of birth, mother's name and father's name are filled in correctly.
• Make sure full names are used, not short names. Many documents will need the full name later.
• Check that the surname is given if your child plans to go abroad. Several countries ask for it.
• Check that the date of birth is fully correct.
• Match the details with the passport, if your child has one.
• Check the subjects with care. No change will be accepted after the correction window.
• Parents must make sure all data of their child is correct.

CBSE has said this is the final chance to fix LOC data. Schools have been asked to share the circular with all students and parents. They must also send corrections only within these dates.
