West Bengal WB Madhyamik Topper List 2025 OUT: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education released the WB Madhyamik topper list 2025 along with the WBBSE Result 2025 on May 2, 2025 at 9 am via Press Conference. WB result 2025 for class 10 examswill be made available online for students from 9:45 am onwards. Students can check the WB Madhyamik topper list 2025 on the official website of the board at wbbse.wb.gov.in. Q:   Will WBBSE exams be held twice a year from the next academic session?
A:

Education Ministry had announced that the Board exams will be held twice a year. Students will be allowed to retain their best scores. However, the Board has not released any notification regarding the same. So, WB Madhyamik exams 2026 will be held just once between February 2 and 12, 2026. 

WB Board released the WB Madhyamik routine 2026 on its official website. Students can click on the link provided to check the detailed date sheet. 

Q:   What are the WBBSE Exam Timings?
A:

WB Madhyamik exams are held from 9:45 am till 1:00 pm.  The exam timings were updated in 2024 from 11:45 am till 3:00 pm. 

The WBBSE Madhyamik exams 2026 will be conducted in pen and paper format between February 2 and 12, 2026. The WB Madhyamik admit card 2026 will be released in the last week of January 2026. Students need to collect it from their schools respectively and carry it on all exam days, failing which they will not be allowed to write the exam. 

Q:   What is allowed to be carried to WB Madhyamik exam hall?
A:

You only need to carry the required stationary, and hall ticket to the examination hall. 

Students are not allowed to carry following items to WBBSE Examination hall:

  • Instruments 
  • Handbag 
  • Purse 
  • Any kind of Paper/ Textual material (printed or written material) 
  • Eatables (loose or packed) 
  • Mobile Phone / Earphone/ Microphone
  • Calculator 
  • Camera 
  • Tape Recorder 
  • Electronic Watches with facilities of calculator 
  • Any metallic item or electronic gadgets / devices 
Q:   When will WB Madhyamik routine release?
A:

WBBSE released the WB madhyamik routine 2026 on May 10, 2025. The WB Madhyamik exams 2026 are scheduled between February 2 and 12, 2026. 

The WBBSE board 10th exams will be held in pen and paper format. West Bengal Madhyamik routine includes details like exam date, timings, and instructions for both regular and external exams. It also contains important exam day instructions. WBBSE Madhyamik Exam 2026 timings are 10:45 am to 2 pm. WBBSE will issue the WBBSE Class 10 Admit Card in January 2026. Students must refer to the West Bengal 10th time table while preparing for the exams. It is also recommended to complete the entire syllabus early to leave enough time for revision.

Q:   Can I go to washroom during Class 10 board exam?
A:

Yes, going to washroom during the class 10 board exams in India is allowed. When appearing for the any class 10 board exams, you must feel relaxed, confident and comfortable. So yes, students are allowed to use washroom even during the class 10 board exams. However, an invigilator can take you to the washroom because many students often use washroom for using unfair means and cheat in board exam.

Students must note that the invigilator can frisk them anytime during the exam duration if they found using unfair means for cheating inside the washroom. So, it is recommended to use washroom only when needed.

Q:   What happens if you take leave in WB Madhyamik board exam?
A:

In case you are unable to attend a WB madhyamik board exam, you will be awarded zero marks in the subject. Eventually, you will be asked to appear for the compartment exam. Thus, it is better to focus and study hard and not skip or leave your exam and pass with flying colours.
